Im sure some of you are probably wondering where Nick and Madison's deaths are (we know Madison is alive now), but after going back and watching S4-7 again before I made this video I decided that 4A is actually one of the better periods of FTWD during the chambliss and Goldberg era. Yeah, it's dumb af still, but I much preferred 4A to season 4B, season 5 and season 7, which I why I left them off the list.
Would you do Top 10 best Fear the walking dead episodes? Would be impossible to do worst episodes cause there's are shit load of them right now of how bad the show is 😆
It's hard to chose but I have some ideas 1. Alicia's exit (the whole is for me the worst thing ever on the franchise) 2. Madison death fake out 3. Everyone deciding to stay instead of going to Alexandria 4. Everyone deciding to do what morgan wants 5. Everyone staying in a radioactive zone instead of leaving 6. The ''war'' between Strand and alicia 7. John Dorie's death 8. Season 6 ending 9. Daniel losing memorie 10. Luciana's character since s5 11. Strand throwing morgan into walkers for no reason and he becoming a cartoonish villain 12. Tom's death on the bridge 13. Alicia following a walker to take her to PADRE 14. John Dorie Sr death and he not killing Strand 15. Grace and her dreams 16. Charlie and Ali's ''romance'' 17. The villain in 4B being shot and survive and magically appearing out of nowhere when the plot needs it 18. Alicia painting trees 19. Wes joining Strand 20. Alicia not wanting to kill walkers
Immortal Daniel Deaf musician could hear Alicia's lines Pointless filler seasons 4-7 with no plot Walkie-talkie overuse and "dO yOu CoPy?" Characters teleport when plot needs them Urge to create a fake cringy "wow-effect" No plot And did i mention there is no plot Making new Madison a sick chimp that is not even her
@@gerardmcquade nah, knowing the absurdity of ftwd I specifically looked for that when he talked to Alicia, at least once his vision was away more than enough not to understand what she could say
Bringing back the actor that plays Josiah LaRoux (Virginia's bounty hunter who gets his head cut off) and deciding to create a twin brother for him and having him come across the group and being friendly with them, only to completely ignore his character and push it aside later in the season.
As for the nummber 9 it's basicly the equivalent of if Spencer framed Daryl for working with Negan and Rick just shoots Daryl in the face without good proof that Daryl really was the traitor that's exactly the same situation here
I agree with every single one 😂😂😂😂 some honorable mentions too the zombie wrestling show, Al’s final episode with the cannon, June being a badass out of nowhere, the deaf bagpipes player, Ali and the butterflies, Madison’s supposed death scene and Alicia painting 🤦🏻♂️
Great choices. Some of those moments I actually forgot about, like John splitting the axe, and drinking a few beers to neutralize the antifreeze. Terrible writing.
This video had me cracking up the whole time how you're reminding me of how ridiculous this show has become. I wouldn't even watch this show if it weren't for your reviews. Keep up the good work.
Moments I'd have put in here: June just so HAPPENED to find John's dad, who just so happens to have a history with Teddy, Cole's pointless return, Paul wanting to save a stupid radio, wrestling the walkers, and Tom's death.
Like who is even Cole!?!?! We spend know time developing or learning anything in this show I have now clue who that asshole even is, I think they were in the baseball diamond? But they have the most generic face that they could kill 20 people in front of me, smile and wave and I would still not be able to pick them out of a police line up.
You should've mentioned that one guy who died on the bridge in Season 5 while filming his TikTok. It was a completely unnecessary death, but then again, someone that dumb shouldn't survive the apocalypse 😂
Honestly, I can't blame Morgan for wanting to use a nice comfy toilet with actual toilet paper. Best scene in the entire show, yup, hands down, pinnacle. Dare i say it: it was much better and funnier in the ZNation news station episode that did it first. Also the camera stayed outside the bathroom, thank you very much.
Can we just take a moment and put Morgan sitting on a toilet into perspective: Morgan was introduced with his son Duane. His wife turned and he struggled with killing her. We met him again, when he is mentally deranged. His beloved son dead and he doesnt recognize his friend Rick. Fast forward post Benjamin's death. He bruatlly murders everyone who wronged him and goes full nuts with the saviours. S5 Fear the show dedicates screentime to depict in detail how the man with such a heavy backstory just takes a luxurious big dumb on a toilet. I love it!!!
Great video! For me, Alicia following a random walker to "Padre" and then getting bit because she wouldn't kill it was THE STUPIDEST and most infuriating moment of the show for me. A close second was the 100th episode in which she followed a hallucination of a younger version of herself and saving a bird, to then die or not die because they don't even know what they want. This made me stop watching the show because I couldn't take it anymore
I’ll never get the image of Strand in that hot air balloon out of my head. I laughed so hard I swear I had tears in my eyes. What a great video. Hilarious do another 10!!
I had successfully managed to forget about a few of these. Great list, you could easily do one with 100 points (if you don't kys from how awful it all is of course). I think the Beer Balloon should be used to promote the show from season four onwards. The stupidity is perfect representation of the entire show from that point.
Agree 100%. Just one I'd like to add. It kills me because I love seasons 1-3. But, when Lucianna would do the guts trick, she would only have to dab some Walker blood on her cheeks to trick them... WTF?
Yeah you right, that it made no sense, but I always thought it was just a stylistic choice because they wanted a different look than TWD. And being covered in deep red blood kinda looked cool to me.
You could EASILY do a second list with another 10 dumbest moments!! S7 is fully of them. Here are some of my picks and suggestions: -magic WalkieTalkies. You randomly speak into the device and suddenly the person you wanted to speak to is on the other line. Or if the story demands, the enemy listened as well. - there are only 2 types of character deaths: 1.Character dies who we met that epsiode for the first time. 2.Actor doesnt want to be on the show anymore and gets a forced story line with his resulting death. -side characters, who survive, get almost abandoned immediately after their first appearance: Rabi Jakob S5, the kids from S5, Emile's twin S7, worst offender: Mickey S7, who said that she is now part of the "black riders" and we never saw her again with Dwight and Sherry nor at all! -radioactive immune horses. The horses are always fine even in dangerous regions, where you need equipment. -the whole fever dream that is the epsiode "In dreams" -guy killing himself on a collapsing bridge because he wanted to film himself for the Virginia counter video -S4E7 when the Vultures release the zombies, Nick and Alicia just stay in the car and dont move. They had sooo much time just driving off?!? They are in a working car.. -Althea knowing how to ride a plane and knowing how to fix a plane -wrestling with zombies -Alicia following a zombie and hoping for his help -deaf dude in the nuclear zombie apocalypse playing bag pipe
10 barely scratches the surface of all the dumb moments of this series. Probably could get 50 to 100 just out of seasons 5 and 7 alone. Ian and Andrew are showruiners in good company with hack Gimple. Season 7 is a complete filler season just to get Madison back and ruin her character into season 8. Madison without Alicia is just dumb and feels pointless. Your reviews are 10000 times more entertaining than this shit-show.
It's kind of fitting that "The Beer Balloon" is #1 considering that the late great critic Roger Ebert once said that no good movie ever had a hot air balloon in it.
For me and many another’s number one would be a tie between killing of Nick, getting rid of Madison, the two year time jump, killing John Dorie or wasting new characters by killing and introducing them in one episode.
@@carpediemearth Nick (Frank Dillane) knew how those 2 new twit show runners ruined the beautiful story that was created over 3 seasons. I hated when they killed him off it’s when the show died for me. But I know why he left now
Yassss Louis Theroux reference! Now we just need a villain who hynopotizes and expertly cold reads people so we can get a Darren Brown reference. Actually on second thought, they'll prolly actually do something dumb like that, so maybe it's not worth it.
Kind of looks like a z-nation fan joined the production crew. Several of the plot lines with the radioactive zombies are lifted almost entirely from that show.
3 things: 1: 6:00 was a hilarious joke, well done. 2: Number 1 in this list was the point I left the show and stopped following it since. I’m not surprised it’s here. 3: Holy crap this list encompasses the show from Season 4 onwards. My Lord the writing crapped itself.
It really is like they forgot the entire cental theme of TWDU: SURVIVAL! I swear the new writers and show runners of all shows DO NOT UNDERSTAND what made TWD so popular and why people love it. Yes there's always been this underlying narrative and philosophy if morality vs survival, trying to keep their humanity, but characters are ultimately forced to make immoral desperate dark decisions in the interest of survival and keeping the people they care about safe. It's the narrative of how the civilised world collapsing brought us back to our primal survival instinct "us or them" mentality, the lengths people will go to and what they're willing to sacrifice, what lines they will and won't cross, how much of the old world they're willing to let go of and how much of the new world they're willing to embrace. New writers have essentially thrown this out of the window in favour of sappy over sentimental mushy drivel in which every character has become the moral police that willfully ignores survival instinct, common sense and self preservation to put their lives in danger to help strangers with no knowledge of who they are, where they're from, what their intentions are and whether they can be trusted. It completely goes against everything TWDU used to be, even in Fear season 3
Also so stupid how Howard lived in that tower just fine before the bombs then just let Strand take over & do everything Strand told him to do after that. Smh
Erickson got off to a bit of a rough start, but Season 2B and Season 3 were both really strong.. at that time Fear was definitely standing on it's own, and it was working. It did not take long for Goldberg & Chambliss to ruin it completely
Great video, the scene with the beer hot air balloon made me lose hope in this show. Sure season 6 wasn't that bad but that's still the only somewhat good season since the new showrunners came on.
The beer drinking episode made me crazy too, especially when there is an ethanol truck outside and Al somehow damages the truck and im like seriously and then to make it worse Morgan brings beer to save them and this beer in a previous episode Jimbo the maker says that it doesn't have much alcohol content its just stupid.
AMC's Fear twd most stupid moments: -Alicia Clark thinking that a walker could lead her to Padre -Bringing Morgan Jones to Fear twd along with Dwight & Sherry -Bringing back Madison Clark after it was confirmed numerous times that the character was Dead on Talking Dead -Alicia screaming at Will after he saved her life -Morgan Jones using the bathroom -Madison blindly following orders from Padre when that's not something Madison Clark would do -How John Dorie & Nick Clark went out -The fact that Alicia forgives Charlie after she murdered Nick in cold blood and got away with it -Daniel, Sarah, June ect. acting like complete idiots for literally no reason -Morgan and the others saving people on the road, where Morgan's like we gotta help people -Alicia Clark painting trees -How pointless Ian & Andy handled the CRM -Alicia saying I love you to Strand towards the very end of S7 Ep15 -The garage writing and lack of direction -Althea becoming a lesbian character out of no where -How Alicia left the show during S7 Ep15 -How terrible the plot for the 100th Episode was -Terrible villains like The Vultures, Logan, Martha and Strand for example
man also really complained about bringing back madison after you begged them for years to bring her back, then how Alicia left in 7x15 even though it was ADC’s choice AND a character using the bathroom? I mean who wouldn’t wanna shite in a toilet, it’s luxurious in the apocalypse wth😭😭
@@Ryan-rb4xj I wasn't calling out the LGBTQ+ community, one of the things I was saying was that they made Althea a lesbian character out of nowhere meaning it made no sense for the story and it wasn't even handled good when it could have been handled good in a way that makes sense for the story
@@Ryan-rb4xj I don't appreciate you using that against me if anything your jerk for even bringing that up, was there a time where I wanted Madison to return yeah however I slowly gave up hope, I gave up hope that Madison was gonna return during Season 6A because during time I was like well if they were gonna do it, they would have done it by now so
Having Morgan, Dwight and Sherry show up in TX tells us that the writers do not care and will just do whatever even if it would NEVER happen in real life. Morgan ....yeah I could see him showing up over a many years of travel. But Sherry and Dwight....no effing way.
I honestly don't think a show has spiraled so much in history than Fear like what the actual fuck happened??? Gimple and his two Gimps are a crime against humanity!
I would put Alicia's death(or whatever that was) as #1, but whatever, no big deal. One you missed: Alicia following a walker thinking he'd lead her to PADRE... just...wow! These showrunners are incompetent, make your best buddy Gimple look like Scorsesse by comparison.
the bullet splitting trick is an actual real life thing and I thought it was pretty cool. Morgan didn't run all the way to Texas, he said that he got there by walking, running, driving (basically by any means). also it's not unlikely that he would run into the cast of ftwd. they have never interacted with the cast of the main show before. in universe these are just a random group of people, just like any group he could've came across. the shows are just telling the story of what happened.
Forgot his name, think he was in S5, the one who searches for his secret recipe to make an alcoholic drink. That was another dumb storyline! It just seems like anyone who is harmed or has died by someone in this show is forgiven and forgotten about (Daniel and Strand, Alicia and Charlie with Nick's death, Alicia and Strand with Will's death). And in S7 episode 15 Strand says Alicia is like the closest thing he has to family and then later on he's telling her how he is in love with her and she says it in return too to him whilst parting aways. Have we forgotten he was gay in S3?? And what has happened to that group of kids who were on the plane with them??
Strand isn't confirmed to be gay, he's a part of the LGTBQ+ but he isn't gay, in Los Muertos Strand remarks to Madison that if he met her the same way he met Thomas he'd hit on her, it isn't clear if it was a joke or he was serious, and also Colman Domingo implies that Strand is pansexual. Other than that i agree with everything you said
Before I started watching this video, I was going to comment that I bet all these moments are going to be from after Morgan joined the show. I was not disappointed. By the video, I mean. By the show I’m mortified.
The hand! How could you forget Alicia chopping off her hand and then someone apparently boiling? The skin off?? To put the skeleton in the blade brace??? No, no. Don't just walk around with a deadly blade arm. Let's pick this arm like a Costco chicken and stick it in there. Makes for a hell of a game of Smell My Finger The fact that you had a fully valid 10 dumb af moments and yet still couldn't manage to fit that and Alicia painting trees and then following a damn walker around like a guide dog🤦♀️ wtf has this show become. The Alicia/Strand war starting over this Will dude who apparently was in love with Alicia after ~checks notes~ about month with her in a coma for the most of it was just like... ok. We're really done here.
What about the one episode in which Grace is pregnant/unconscious and has a dream about her grown up daughter (aged 15+ years) and the show implies that she's ACTUALLY talking to, meeting, and going on an adventure with her daughter who is still inside of her stomach and not even born yet, worst and most nonsensical episode of the entire show for me
We went from Madison crashing Troy's skull to Morgan taking a dump onscreen... That's why I don't watch Fear anymore. The show is crap now. And my TV screen is not a loo... No way I will watch season 8
I'm on S5E15 and im debating on finishing it. Its horrible. The dumbest things happen every 10 minutes of showtime. The people have the worst luck I've ever seen. Walkie talkies are more abundant than water and the batteries are the best I've encountered. Everyone is always going off doing stupid shit on their own. Sick of Morgan saying" sorry I wasn't there for you ,but I'm here now" The group is totally ignorant to strangers that could be evil as F#$k. I could rant on..... Hats off to you for only picking 10 mate! 😆
Seriously I could go on forever how frustrating and boring this show has become i had to stop after season 4 because ive always had an issue with the way the baseball stadium gets attacked, Alicia and Nic go out to get the guy back who wants to harm them? Somehow that never makes sense to me. Then they get stuck outside the gates full of walkers, why didn't they just drive away? They have to be rescued and we think Madison dies, its insane it dosesnt make any sense, why do the new people want to get inside if they dont have anything. We see these guys strip places bare yet they sit outside an empty stadium waiting to get in, why????? Then once Morgan appears all we see is fully supplied trucks and stocked gas stations and boxes left on tbe road to help people. Nope no more i cannot watch another episode
No no no the poo and piss scenes are important up until that point it was unclear if shitting or pissing was a canon thing in the walking dead universe like maybe it doesn’t exist like the world zombie but that’s to fear we can confirm it does and now we know so much more for the wider walking dead universe like when Michonne had some toilet paper rolls tied to the back of her horse in rather season 9 or 10 of the show we now know that’s for shitting reason instead of art reasons or something
I think Dwight and sharry is the best part of fear TWD they couldn’t be back on regular TWD but Morgan he got switched to a protagonist and no nick or Alicia
