It was close I still think Rob won and Romeros also one of my favourite fighters.

The second was close, rob definitely did enough to retain championship and Romero reminded why he is fighting for the belt.

Whittaker is such an underrated beast. Broke his hand in the first round of that second fight, still somehow went the distance taking the 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounds. Fractured yoels orbital too.

Fighters are some of the toughest people in the world. Almost everything in fighting hurts but you just take it it is what it is, that’s why I love it, this isn’t something everyone can do it separates tough people from soft people in my eyes. Plus all the adrenaline also helps to push through.

Hate to sound corny but it’s probably adrenaline. It’s not debilitating until like later.

If your opponent sees you have an injury or any kind of weakness at all they're going to go for it, as they should. It's like when you rock someone and see their eyes glaze over, you don't even make a decision to go for the finish, it's totally instinctual. Same as when you injure yourself in a match, or get rocked yourself. Your first instinct is to hide that shit, because you know exactly what you would do if you were in your opponents place. And as JADORE ONEAL says, the adrenaline will keep you up until you calm and cool down a bit, then the pain really sets in, but during the fight it's really easy to push awful pain and whatnot to the back of your mind, because the urgency of defending yourself takes priority
