I'm quite curious how you found Vivaia shoes. As to specific videos, I'd appreciate a video on scarves. I often use them to change the look of my travel capsules. But I know I'm not using them to their best advantage.
Loved the tips at the end. Especially the one about pointing the toe while seated and not starting the movement with the hand but rather with the elbow. And yes, the one about holding the glass. Merci!!
Watching other creators taking about style and elegance, I have an impression that it is very hard to find a balance between actually giving advice and nagging ppl. But you're doing an amazing job! 🫡👏 after watching your videos, I feel motivated to improve rather than terrible for not doing it like this before ❤ thank you for that!
These videos are so so so awesome, thank you! I’ve been trying to elevate my workwear and these tips have been wonderful. You’ve both affirmed things I’ve intuited on my style journey AND given voice to new things. This is high value content!
Thank you so much for your great video!! This is exactly the information I have been looking for for years.💛 Not only are you so helpful and concise, you seem like such a lovely person.
I have fine medium length hair. My hair stylist told me about the hair dryer/round brush combination and it has been life-changing. My hair is done in half the time and my arm muscle doesn't get tired out. And it actually works better than separate blow dryer and brush for creating lift and volume. Thanks for your lovely videos!
Anything French, real French like you, is good enough for me to follow along! Have soo many fun memories from trips to France and have always loved the country side, the small towns, the west coast, the food, the wine, the fashion and some parts of Paris! Lots of love from Sweden 🇸🇪
I loved all your tips, they are really helpfull. Since I'm not a girl anymore neither feeling a complete grown ass adult, I'm in the middle of two stages of my life and really needing to start changing the way I dress. so I guess this tips are really convinient when one is trying to change to some style a little bit more elevated but not feeling confortable enough to chage completeley! Thank you so much. PS: I would love to see a video where you could explain in wich ocassions is it better to add a belt to the outfit. Sometimes I feel lost at accesorizing. See you next video!!
I love this video. It would be cool to have one that is for how to dress elegantly if you're short/petite. I'm a little dubious that a coat that long would look good on me - I tend to go for knee-length or slightly below and I still feel like it's giant and swimming on me lol. I love the rest of the outfit, though, and the little hand movements. Lots and lots I can learn here.
At last someone with take the word effortless seriously! I loved the video because I really can implement this routine in weekdays and I would love more effortless outfit ideas. What would you recommend instead of mascara? I wear glasses and I don't like It that much. Maybe some eyeliner?
I really like your videos. One thing though, not everyone looks good with golden jewellery :) On me silver looks more elegant, I look cheap and tacky with golden jewellery because my skintone is cool olive. I think it'd be a better advice to find the jewellery that suits your skintone and wear that :)
Chère Ariane, J'adore tes vidéos! They are what I was looking for YEARS about being chic, ladylike, effortless etc. And so well explained...! I am amazed. Looking forward to your videos, but no rush, better quality than quantity ;) Salutations chaleureuses de la Suisse
Love the navy stripey marinaire shirt ..plus my usual pearl earrings ..classic and natural..my hair I put some hair product to make it look tamed as its a rather spiky grey
Great video, will definitely have this in mind. I often get overwhelmed because I have a -'all in all out mindset' whenever I do my makeup or have to look put together, which often makes me look overdressed. Thanks!
Curly hair tips: 1) Try to stick to natural products. 2) Do a “clarifying wash” once a week to fully cleanse the hair (use a stronger shampoo to rinse out the build-up from the natural shampoo) AND follow up with a deep-conditioner and rinse. 3) Only comb/brush hair when it has conditioner or leave-in conditioner in it. I use a wide-tooth comb in the shower and again after I apply leave-in conditioner. Never brush dry hair or brush wet hair without product. 4) Do not skip the leave-in conditioner. 5) Experiment with different levels of “hold” in your gel and/or mousse. I use a medium or firm hold. 6. Do not cut hair when it’s wet since not all strands have the same curl pattern - wait till it’s fully dry. 7. Sleep with a silk pillowcase or a silk hair wrap/cap. 8. Use soft materials to tie up your hair like silk scrunchies or claw clips (without teeth). 9) Wear a silk head scarf if it’s very windy outside. 10) Don’t go outside with wet hair (unless there is zero wind and it’s not too cold). 11) Lastly, try to avoid heat (styling, drying) and don’t dye your hair (at least not too often). Extra tips: invest in a styling brush, follow your natural curl pattern, use a diffuser not a hair dryer (cold-medium heat, not high), finish your showers in cold water to close the hair follicles and to lock in moisture!!
Don't forget that what looks good on someone is highly personal. Depends on a person's height, built, colouring and personality. Some people can go overboard and pull it off. On some the look that M S describes as elegant would look drab. It's all highly personal.
could you do a you tube on what you should wear in sete france beech holiday from what to wear to beech lunch and walking 10 k shopping market day plane and train travel i can never get this right i bring too much of the wrong clothes its normally 30 degrees i dont want to look like a tourist i do a lot of walking please please do a you tube on this. i am new to your channel and i love it thank you so much
So, what if I choose the white sneakers, what color of bag should I use??? How do you match bag shoes and a belt? Specially is you wearing white sneakers?
Merci, thank you so very much. I LOVE your videos and wish I’d had them 30 years ago. Bur having them now is fine. The tips on the hands and feet are something I’ve never, ever heard of and I used to play for ballet classes. All of your tips are superb, really. And may I say, I love your hair.
Can you give some advice on how to look effortlessly chic on differently shaped body types??? And also for someone who is disabled and uses a cane i love your videos but i also am not the same shape as you are and have to walk with a cane because I have cancer. i don’t want my body shape and stage 4 cancer to limit me in looking amazing. Any pointers you have would be awesome❤
This huge hair sponge for making a bun has nothing to do with elegance or chic. It looks outdated and granny styled and actually effortful. Instead you'd rather make an effortless bun using pins or little invisible elastics.
I absolutely love your videos, and just thought at the end how I love the way you close. I think it shows the class that you talked about in one of the videos. Unlike creators who beg us to subscribe or act like the viewers who aren't subscribed should be, you invite us to subscribe and say you'd love to see us again. As for me I am subscribed and look forward to the next one! A bientôt !
Thank you for the foot placement and vegan leather list. In terms of the outfit, I think the key here is the balancing, as I see this outfit is made by the attention grabbing earring ( I think that is why you did not take the classic one).
The shoes are way too casual imo and the basic t-shirt is a little too basic, you can still wear a t-shirt but a little more interesting, modern and slouchy while still looking smart
I do not like the pants in this video & see them far too often. The shape makes women look like parenthesis ( ) A pant that drops from the waist, or even a bootleg pant is more flattering & avoids the ( ) shape.
It’s great that you’ve started to mention and promote vegan leather. 👍 In this day and age, there is no need for us to cause suffering to animals in order to look elegant. Also fur and wool are things of the past.
@@kasondaleigh wool is an ethical negative, and people are slowly starting to become aware of it. There is a lot of animal abuse in the wool industry. I didn’t know either, until recently. Please look into what “mulesing” is, for example.
The length of the pants are too short. For chic, they should hit below the ankle, touching the top bone of your foot. Too short and it is following a trend and not classic look.
@@fnma21 It’s called a cropped pant. Her channel is about elegance. A cropped pant has a time and place, more of a beach or summer vibe. It is a trend that goes in and out of style, between capris and shorts. For an elegant pant, one that stands up through trends, cropped pants are not it.
I sincerely enjoy this channel. Thank you, Mademoiselle Spends! My mom has taught me a lot of tips, and yet there are still nuances I picked up from your video content. The links with the items you wear/talk about are very helpful. I love the Pablo pants, and if I figure the sizing I'd order one. Hopefully they ship to Germany.
