For some time now I've been playing 2 games per platform, usually 6 games in rotation, I'm cool like that. October plans is finishing Visions of Mana and Final Fantasy Rebirth on PS5, Zelda Echoes of Widsom and Fire Emblem Engage (I'm in love with this one) on Switch and then I'm playing new Diablo 4 and WoW expansions on PC. What a busy month. Have a good gaming October everyone with some delicious cocoa at the side, cheers! ☕️
First of all I LOVE Counterparts so shoutout to you 🤘I'm playing Until Dawn, Little Nightmares, and Alan Wake II for the first time in October/November (I can never fit all my spooky media into one month and Scorpio season makes it still feel appropriate lol). I think you'll love Control whenever you get to it. And very curious how Monster House ends up being😂Awesome list of games!
Killer Frequency was a sleeper hit for me, the voice acting is beyond top tier, the suspense and build up/pay offs as well, you'll enjoy it immensely! This entire list really is phenomenal, i still need to get to Still Wakes the Deep myself as well, but currently going through Silent Hill 2 Remake and other horror games myself as well :) As always, your videos are immensely enjoyable Hannah!
You should try Dead Space remake (its free for October on PS5 store), Tormented Souls, Aliens Dark Descent, Alan Wake 2, Crow Country, Bloomtown:A Different Story
You can try a few others like SOMA by Frictional Games (the devs behind Amnesia: The Dark Descent), Silent Hill 2: Remake, Layers of Fear 1/2, Lust From Beyond (horror experienced in an erotic mode), Alien Isolation (They greenlit a sequel to it by the way), Visage, The Evil Within 1/2, and Outlast 1/2
I played Still Wakes the Deep last month on Friday the 13th and that was really fun and only takes like 5-6 hours. I never played The Evil Within games, so I will most likely try and get through those this month, and Until Dawn is another favorite this time of year.
I wanna play Killer Frequency soooo bad! it sounds like such a fun game! the subtle comment about the Barnyard PS2 game literally gave me PTSD like a 'nam flashback LOL
Just generally it sounds like a great plan, I hope you enjoy it. Really getting back to playing distinct games with narratives as opposed to more online games can be a great refresher.
YES KILLER FREQUENCY IS SO FREAKING GOOD!! I can't wait to see your playthrough! I've always steered mostly clear of super spooky games but I think this is the year😤
Great list of games! Alan Wake is great and the sequel is fantastic. I’m currently waiting on the 2nd DLC to release I can’t wait to get back into it 😅 I kicked off the month by playing the Dead Space remake and just started Silent Hill 2. Hoping to get to Signalis and Alien: Isolation by the end of the month as well. Happy Gaming! 😁
Amnesia is going to be such a fun one to play through!! One of the earliest games that really got me into horror games, and TDD still holds up great today too. Banger cozy video as always!
Just Silent Hill on Ps1 for games that fit the Halloween/Fall vibe. Watched the 2006 movie last week and it got me interested in diving into the actual games. Also what bands do you listen to that are similar to Counterparts?
I'm currently playing Control, then I'm gonna play Alan Wake 2 and maybe pick up Silent Hill 2. Pumpkin Jack is like a 6 hour game, literally finished it in two nights of spare time and it was super fun. Length doesn't equal quality
I’m gonna be buying Alan wake 2 for ps5 it’s coming in physical deluxe October 22 I’ll be picking that up.also definetly wanna get Silent hill 2 remake
