I have high uric acid too but I still eat everything including red meat. The remedy I used everyday is 1 TBSP of apple cider vinegar with honey. No gout attack for me again.
Seven years ago I used to suffer from gout in my big toe, foot and wrist. When the gout left one joint it would flare up in another. I did a lot of research and found out that Tart Cherry helps prevent gout. So, I started taking 2,400mg Tart Cherry Capsules and have done so every morninng since. Not only have I never suffered another bout of gout (pardon the rhyme) each morning. I have been able to eat whatever I want (uric acid foods included), these tart cherry capsules worked for me and continue to do so. The only secret is, you have to keep taking them, stop and the gout will return.
Spinach is a cause for Kidney stones, too much raspberries and almonds will prevent calcification of bones and teeth, but increase calcium in the blood. What too much is is the question. What is required is also more Nitric Oxide: Quercetin, 500mg, 100mg Luteolin, 100MG DHA, cholorell 1000MG Vitamin C 500mg a day.
When you feel that a gout attack, take a colchocine. Blend together 1 large cucumber, 1 peeled pineapple, 1 peeled grapefruit, and a thumb size if fresh ginger and 500 ml water. Drink a glass of this every morning on an empty stomach. No doubt you will analyze that you are not drinking enough water. You must have an increase in your water intake then also cut up a stick of celery put it in the fridge to chill and eat it as a snack.
Mentioned in your video are foods high in purines cause high uric acid which can cause gout. One of the foods you recommend is spinach which is high in purines. My personal research has shown that spinach is not a food you should eat if you have high uric acid.
I got gout, and had it for about 2 years. Need I scope (top & bottom) and Dr found that I had H. Pylori (Heliobacter pylori). Once cleared no more gout.
Broccoli, tomato and salmon trigger gout. I got gout twice a month because of salmon. Red meat also triggers gout, avoid at all. Salty fish and sardines should be avoided. Maybe nuts, too.
Test saliva or urine pH . Should be close to neutral, 7. If below 6… you are running acidic. If not already in metabolic disease fresh lemon in some water and test again in an hour. Stubborn, you need big changes. Quit the sugar and baked sweets. Then eat healthy stuff as suggested here. 👍
There is only one thing I see you recommend that I can not have and that is spinach, it is above average in purines. Anyone else have this problem like I do?
I don’t know where you got this information, or where you are referring to what studies. But I have not had an attack, since I became a carnivore, and only eat red meat & lots of water, unsweetened tea or coffee! No sugar, grains, alcohol, or weeds. It’s working for me, and I’m loosing weight, too! Talk is cheap, but results ore facts! Not setting my feet on fire, anymore, because of erroneous studies, with weak information. I’m not going on steroids the rest of my life, when a diet change lifestyle, gets results! This study would make me change Doctors, if this his recommendation. I will trust my test results, way before studies backed by big Farms and big pharmaceutical corporations! When you have type two diabetes, you don’t need sugar, at all, ever! Alcohol 🍺 isn’t a supplement, but it stops some people from helping save their lives. We are not bears, so we don’t need fruits, for fattening us up, for a winter that won’t come! I’ve been eating ribeyes for dinner, almost every night, and 6 scrambled eggs, in a third of a stick of butter, and all the bacon I have room for, before I’m full! My chances of staying on this lifestyle, is very much better than than a bear’s hibernation diet! Check out different diets, before settling on one, then check out your test results, to see if you made the right choice! Try to get on the best results, before you start losing limbs and organs/Life! I’m not selling anything, just concerned for everyone’s health. I don’t even have a long drawn out video, advertised as a short video, ending in a pill sales! I’m 77, and feel more confident, that I will make it to 78! Good luck 🍀👍🏻!
Bear in mind that pineapple loses most, if not all, of its bromelain if cooked at temps over 135 degrees. If you use it in cooked meals, add it after the cooking is over.

Nice info! Yes I always include tofu to vegetables I cook especially amorgoso or kangkong there is everytime tofu mix rather than meat Also I drink much water and I eat more on watery fruits like watermelon, pears, apples, pineapple, lemon juice Thanks
Utica acid is not only produced by purine ,other amino acids and mainly fructose. The sugar is we eat too much ,change into fructose and fructose change into Uris acid .Normal level of Uris acid is 5.5 ( research about fructose shows how Uris acid is also produced.Dr Permutter book about Uris acid.
My gout teigger os Tomatoes, prosessed cold meats amd if l change coffee. i habe diverticulitis so half rhw food thats good for gout are bad for me.. Its so bloody hard.
Well, I gave up coffee and looked what happened. It wasn't just this but it sounds like I should have stated on it. Anyway, I love cherries and have been drinking it along with celery juice. Ihope it works. My appointment is 4 days away so I trying home remedies for now.
I've heard all of this before. The one thing I know is that foods/drinks differ in everyone. We all have different triggers. For me it's fructose and fast food. When you feel an attack coming put a large table spoon of baking soda in a shot of water. Drink that and take some ibuprofen. You will freak out over the results. As for prevention, eat tons of garlic, extra virgin olive oil and blue berries
It's about water .If you don't consume enough water our bodies cannot flush out the acid ...everytime I don't drink enough water over a couple of days gout starts to flare up in my feet..
What they don’t tell you is that your cells produce about 70% of the purines in your body with the remainder coming from diet. It about staying hydrated making sure your kidneys are elusive out that Uris acid from your system. If you don’t hydrate enough you will get gout, which is extremely painful and takes about two weeks to clear out even with medication. It could potentially mean you have a kidney issue!
FINELY CHOPPED FRESH GARLIC STORED IN A GLASS JAR WITH HONEY IS THE BEST MEDICINE FOR GOUT AND ARTHRITIS. ONE TABLESPOON (EQUIVALENT TO 3 CLOVES) EVERYDAY, TAKEN 30 MINUTES BEFORE EATING ANY MEAL, IN LESS THAN 10 DAYS, YOU WILL SEE THE RESULT YOU NEED.
@@marcc5768 I'VE BEEN DOING IT SINCE 2012, AND SINCE THEN, I NEVER HAD COLD, COUGH, FLU, HEADACHE, ALLERGIES, AND MY GOUT AND ARTHRITIS WERE TOTALLY GONE. HONEY IS ONLY TO PRESERVE IF YOU WANT TO PREPARE MORE THAN ONE DOSE. AS OF NOW, I AM CHOPPING THE GARLIC DAILY AND SWALLOW IT WITH WATER, BECAUSE NO HONEY AVAILABLE IN THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE.
I would suggest eating the foods mentioned separately so you can enjoy the flavors of each without mixing them into a concoction that takes away the flavors.
Hey there! Yes, papaya is a great-tasting fruit that's loaded with nutrients, has anti-inflammatory properties and can help boost antioxidant levels in the body, which is helpful for those dealing with high uric acid. Plus, papaya is packed with vitamins and minerals like vitamin C and potassium, which are essential for good health. Of course, it's important to remember that no one food or nutrient is a magic cure for high uric acid or related conditions like gout. Eating a healthy, balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats is key to promoting good health and managing chronic conditions.
Confusing. Every time I eat nuts gouts would attacked. I tried to avoid anything legumes because of rich protein and would trigger foot and now that I started with chia seeds I started to have gout in my arm and now on my knee. 😮😢It really hurts and really bothering me:(
When I had my 1st gout attack (I was 28 y/o then), broccoli, whole grains (especially wheat), beans/tofu and strawberries where included in the list of foods to prevent. I see varying information from nutrition videos and from doctors (including rheumatologists). It would have been better if some kind of footnotes were included in this video to show where the said studies came from.
Tofu I find ok to consume, but not soy milk. I had a gout flare on boxing day, had 3/4 cup soy milk and couldn't walk on the 27th. The cause I learned was due to the oxalate content of the soy milk. Almost week and a half almost back on my feet
Wait....everywhere else I have read and viewed about gout, some green vegetables, including broccoli, spinach, and asparagus, as well as green peas, can *aggravate* gout. So, which is it?????
I had gout experience, eating cherries made my gout getting much worse. But drinking perilla water as herbal tea, continues in 2-3 days,my gout completely disappeared (i used about 20 perilla leaves per day, cooked 2 minutes with boiling water)
@@brendadejeron8909 Perilla leaves are an incredibly popular herb added to Asian cuisine. It belongs to the mint family and has a unique taste that can elevate any dish. Perilla leaves have been used to treat a variety of conditions in Chinese medicine, as a garnish in Asian cooking, and as a possible antidote to food poisoning. Leaf extracts have shown antioxidant, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, GI, and dermatologic properties.
For what's worth, I have been a gout victim for over 20 yrs and have tried almost everything that you mentioned in the video butto no avail. In the end, Iwas given alloprinoral and stopped almost immediately. I am an anti drugs person but this has changed my life. Trust your doctor and modern med., and use your commone sense. Gout attack is no fun. Get treated when those tips from the video don't work.
All of this Or One tablet of allopurinol a day and all my Gout issues disappeared. Oddly enough The podiatrist nor my medical doctor ever told me about this med. I found out when i went to a arthritis doctor who is the one that thru blood test determined the mg strength that was needed to control the Uric Acid/ Purines caused. I was miserable having attacks multiple times a month that crimpled me and I was unable to walk. It seemed the doctors were treating the symptoms NOT the problem. Ask your doctor. Maybe it will work as well for your problem as it has for me. I am now able to enjoy Steak, Lobster, Beans etc. that were forbidder foods in the past.
Hey there! Great question about salt and gout. While salt doesn't directly trigger gout like some foods high in purines, it's still smart to watch your salt intake. Too much salt can lead to other issues like high blood pressure, which isn't great for managing gout. Think fresh and less processed foods to naturally keep salt in check. Of course, consulting your healthcare provider for advice tailored just for you is always the best move. Stay healthy! 😊
I've been a a gout patient for 25 years having this disease is being tortured alive many times I took the machete in my hand thinking to cut my on leg please don't listen to nobody go to a especially get a blood test get medication like I did and I've been free of gout for the past 10 years living a normal life
