Congratulations!💜 The biggest lesson I learned from Lavendaire was to realise that this really is MY own life, I'm the main character of my own life. It was so lovely to learn about your journey and the lessons that you've learned along the way! I loved the lesson about the energy you put into something matters. I 100% agree with this! If I'm having an off day, I do something that fills my cup, and then I check in to see how I'm feeling following the self-care practice(s). It's such a lovely way to demonstrate compassion to yourself. It's a great way to explore what emotions are surfacing as well. Taking time to attend to your needs is extremely valuable and can also build inner resiliency. Thank you so much for all that you do! Also, that cake looked gorgeous! Hey Aileen 👋, Congratulations to you on 10 years of Lavendaire! Although I have to admit that I would’ve loved to have discovered your RU-vid channel a little sooner, I believe that there was a reason I ended up discovering Lavendaire almost 2 years ago now. Even in just a span of nearly 2 years, I’ve learned that I owe it to myself to start listening to my intuition and explore if there’s more to life than the expectations other people have for me that don’t reflect the person I know I was meant to become. There are so many lessons from Lavendaire that I’ve learned and appreciate, so imagine how difficult it is for me to pick just one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So instead of just one single lesson, here are a few that I appreciate the most. 1. It IS possible to create your dream life, but let the things you can’t control fall into place on their own terms. 2. Believe in yourself and honor your own intuition. 3. Stop comparing your life to that of other people (especially your peers) and start prioritizing your own life according to your own standards and timeline. What a wonderful video! I'll be sure to write these lessons down and put them up somewhere so I can see them when I'm editing a video! I love all the lessons but especially the first and seventh! No one really watches my long form videos and the reach on my other socials have went down massively. But I know to just keep going and enjoy the process rather focusing on numbers. I have came far in my art career and can't wait to see what's in store for me. Trying to enjoy the journey and rest on the weekends. :)
