(search Google, Wikipedia etc.) In short: Pilates is characterized by a strong concentration on posture and breathing and it mainly targets the central deep muscles. It was developed by Joseph Pilates around 100 years ago. The problem is that the term is not protected and is therefore used indiscriminately and mostly for clickbait reasons on RU-vid. There are very specific Pilates exercises, but theoretically you can transform almost any other gymnastic exercise with the specific Pilates principles. But that is not the case with this sequence of exercises.
