10 Minute Flexibility Workout for Kids!

Growing kids need to move and stretch their growing bodies! This 10 minute flexibility workout is really fun and accessible for the whole family. Not only is stretching great for your kids, but allows them to really get in tune with how they move, get centered and take 10 minutes to relax. Try it in the morning on the weekends or before bed a few times per week.
Belly breathing - spend about :30 to 1 min here
Shoulder rolls - 10x forward and 10x reverse, nice and slow
Cat Cow - 5-10x - slowly stretch back up/head down, belly down/head up
Child's Pose - hold for :30 and then hold to the left :30 and to the right :30
Downward Dog - can bend knees for flexibility, straighten one at a time for :30
Cobra - to elbows or straight arms - rest here for :30 or pulse up and down for 5-10 reps, try to keep the pelvis on the floor
Yoga Squat - keep your bottom as low as you can, elbow press knees out, lift yourself out of the squat about 1/2" hold for :30-:60
Mountain pose, stretch overhead and take one last deep breath!
