This 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer came to us for a budget LS Swap. We pulled the 5.3 liter LS engine and 4L60e from a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe. Once out, we had our friends at ANJ Transmission install the output shaft and make sure the transmission is good. Then began the real work, lol! We built swap motor mounts after using the BJ's Off Road Transmission to Transfer Case Adapter to locate the engine position. We used Coldhose.com for the Air Conditioning adapters to use the LS truck air compressor and the factory Jeep air conditioning lines.
After the swap was running, we took it to a few Rigs and Coffee events and also had @LuckyCatCollective do a full photo shoot for the owner.
This Jeep is so nice and will make such a nice daily driver! The owner loves it and drives it almost daily.
