This is pretty much exactly what I wanted a modern day Tenchu to look and play like. I can't wait!

Everytime i watch gameplay of this, i get more and more impressed/excited. people really do need to realize that this isn't an RPG though, it's a straight-up action game.

This game looks so good :D And I'm really liking the tense battle music. Tense will probably eventually be the best word to describe the game. Also, I just now noticed how the damage received from battle appears on the main character( like that broken nose after fighting the Samurai early in the demo ). A minor thing but a nice little detail.

Tenchu 2019: The Soulsborne Nioh

I'm so happy that From Software is not afraid of reinventing and trying new things. They really are a shining example of a game studio

This is most likely going to be a day one buy for me. I’ve been obsessed with the Souls series ever since getting Dark Souls on the 360. The combat looks pretty on par with Bloodborne in that it rewards aggression and the new stance mechanic is a cool way to replace stamina. Also the enemies/bosses look incredible. My only worry is losing skill points (I’m an old school RPG fan at heart), but more importantly, the open world/stealth Assassins Creed-vibe. Part of me is super excited, but the other part is worried that I won’t fall in love with it and play through it multiple times in a row like I did the Soulsborne games. I’m hoping they exceed expectations and do to the stealth-action genre what Breath of the Wild did for open world games.

I love the verticality aspect of the game!

These type of games feel like meditation to me, staying focused fully on the enemy being in the present moment instead of being on Autopilot with games that are too easy. Cant wait to get my hands on it.

It looks really good.. my only gripe is the loss of RPG mechanics but it seems like a natural evolution given how deep the souls series combat actually is.
