The rock scene is arguably one of the best scenes in "Everything Everywhere", and it was Michelle Yeoh's suggestion that the dialogue not be spoken, but written in text.
For literally "literally" stopping the action, you can't do better than the new song that was written for Jasmine (I think it was called "Speechless"?) in the live-action _Aladdin._ Speechlessly telling us at the top of her lungs that she is a strong, independent woman who won't sit silently in the background (something she has clearly demonstrated with every line of dialogue she has had to that point), the song comes far too late in the story to have any effect whatsoever, except to leave us scratching our heads over where her magical freeze powers come from.
Like the King Kong remake with Jack Black where right in the middle of Kong's rampage through New York it turned into Kong ice follies in central park with the girl? When I watched it I said "What is this?!? Get back to the chase already!!"
I am a brand new subscriber so forgive me if you have already covered this...I would love to see a video on the best (or worst) 'mental health episodes' . You could even have subcategories like schizophrenic episodes, depression episodes all the way to amnesia and stalkers who have lost it.
Not exactly a pure action movie, but the cut to black in 1917 is a nice stop in action. Almost expected an intermission, why don't we have those for 3h+ movies anymore?
I can never understand these types of videos. Are these pauses in action movies bad or something? The Rock and Samuel Jackson was like the best and funniest scene in that movie. Me and siblings laughed so much once the movie ended. My cousin laughed so hard that she started to tear up. That scene is still funny till this day.😂😂😂
