+SilverMeyers101 Carter didn't make 12,000 dunks, so it can't be just his dunks that have him almost to 24,000 points. Six times he was in the top 10 in points per game. I think the thing about Carter is he wasn't on teams that realistically could have won a championship, except for the 2010 Magic who were eliminated by the Celtics, not Kobe or Duncan.

Stoudemire was amazing in his prime. Its sad that he got injured. Thats why fundmentals are necessary. Spree was a bad man but he was just in a tough era. Dude played in Jordan's era, and in Shaq/Duncan's era.

***** I didn't want to actually go over this in details,but here goes: everytime a team wins they deprive a lot other individuals/superstars/elites from getting a ring..what i mean is..its statistically impossible for everyone to get rings unless all superstars of one era are assembled in 5 teams and they win one ring each year..im not bashing jordan or the guy that commented but its simple to deprive superstars from rings when u are the winner...there is one winner every year and many losers

As a life long Spurs fan, the 2000s it was either The Lakers or The Spurs. their greatness and rivalry was so dominant that who ever was gonna win that year, was gonna win the championship. That era was awesome. my best friend is a die hard Laker fan and to this day when our two teams play against each other, we hate each other. But back then it was 10x worse, lol.

Proves that you can't just have 1 superstar to win a championship, you need an ENTIRE team. That's what made the spurs and 2004 pistons so good. They worked with role players, good coaching, and hard work. 1 player can't really carry an entire team to a championship.

more like shaq, kobe, and tim duncan. kobe could be replaced by any other superstar (iverson, tmac, a healthy grant hill etc) and the lakers would have still won the championship 2000-2002. kobe was instrumental, but shaq was the one getting tripled teamed by the opposing team, and was the runaway winner for finals mvp
