Yea raiders are just idiots! Amd I'm from Oakland so I'm a raider fan and we do the dumbest shit! Seattle ? I could sworn it was Oakland and to be a backup
It was bit more than one game. He almost beat the Patriots, but a long kick return by a lineman set up an easy score. He also had the Huge comeback against the Cowboys to keep the Packers in the playoff hunt.
As a cowboys fan I’m rooting for him. Dudes been playing decent, started playoff game with very little prep time and nearly won. Just because a player is on a rival team doesn’t mean you can’t root for their success
For the rushing yards in a game he said “I don’t think we will be close to ever seeing these numbers again” as if Derrick Henry isn’t in the league and only getting better. Chubb could also have a chance if they’d give him more than 20 touches 😂
Flynn's comeback for the Packers vs the Cowboys was a huge game. It was after Rodgers was out for half the season with an injury and the backups were sucking, so they brought Flynn back. He went to Seattle and Wilson beat him out for the starting job, partially due to a shoulder injury.
Literally acknowledges that Matt Flynn had multiple good games and still put him on the list. I can see why RU-vid stopped recommending me your videos years ago.
For Packers fans, Janis was maddening. He had the speed to be a badly needed deep threat, as was finally shown in the Arizona game...but the only reason he was even on the field for that game was because basically every other WR on the roster was injured. He could never run routes to the coaches' satisfaction, so he almost never saw the field on offense. He carved out a niche for himself on special teams--he was one of the best gunners in the league--but he could have been so much more.
When Janis was on the field he made positive things happen for Green Bay as I said before Packer fans think he never got that chance to show off his athleticism they always said that he was a poor route runner but he was the fastest guy in the Packers WR core.
I wanna say Frank Reich, Oilers go up 35-13 early in the 3rd quarter and Reich goes on to lead the Bills all the way back for a 41-38 victory in a playoff game. I don't remember him doing anything else of note over the course of his career.
@@ddbouttabag5849 I went back and looked at it on another video and actually the oilers had a 28-3 lead at halftime, then Reich threw a pick 6 during the opening drive of the 3rd quarter to give Houston a 35-3 lead. So yeah, my mistake - Reich leads the Bills back from 35-3 not 35-13. Even more reason it should have absolutely been on this list. Sorry for my faulty memory :) It was a very long time ago and I don't really follow the Bills. But I do remember watching that game and being absolutely floored.
@@williamsummerson1204 no but how does a football channel that does rankings after the fact doesn't do predictions before the fact? Why do they rely so heavy on "pop" NFL news? Who the f cares about Tom Brady's avocado ice cream recipe or how to actually pronounce Tyrod Taylor's name? Get with it TPS
I unsubscribed already a while back found a few other channels that are more serious about their football news/stats and not which players dated celebrities but I will continue to suggest a predictions video until they do or they stop popping up in my feed. 🤷♂️
@@PaladinV2 I know a guy who is a Packer fan that thinks just like this as well. There is a WR Cooper Kupp with the Rams he holds the FCS CAREER MARKS for Receptions(428) Yards(6464) Tds(73) if Janis was at a FCS SCHOOL with these stats he would have been a obvious first round choice playing for the Giants or the Jets.
@@PaladinV2 I listen to sports radio WFAN(NY) and there's a rumor about Rogers is thinking about becoming a Pittsburgh Steeler they talked about the lack of progress at the WR position for Green Bay but when Janis was on the field he made things happen.
@@PaladinV2 Janis was never given a chance to show his talent when I saw the scouting report on him he was labeled as a ATHLETIC FREAK by scouts and that play vs.Arizona showed everyone why that was said about him everyone called him a poor route runner but they never played to his strengths of being a home run threat.
@@PaladinV2 When Janis was in high school the only D1 school that showed interest in him was CENTRAL MICHIGAN everyone else was D2 but CM took back their interest in him due to his lack of size I guess they forgot something called REDSHIRT he was 6'1 180 with 4.7 speed but while at college at Saginaw Valley St.he went from being a possession WR to a home run hitter.
Jerome "the ghost" Harrison was just starting to take off. It's a shame that his career ended the way it did, he deserved better. He was phenomenal at wazzu and that talent was finally starting to develop in the NFL. Still the most exciting back I ever had the privilege of watching in person.
I know his career is not over, but 49ers Nick Mullens' debut 34-3 victory against the Raiders on November 1st, 2018 saw him bear a 151.9 passer rating in over 50 years for under 20 receptions in a debut game, and the first quarterback in 49ers history to throw 3 touchdown passes in his first game, not even Montana nor Young did as good in their debut. The announcers also check Twitter ratings and Jersey sales during the game which was going through the roof. He has yet to have as successful a game, and is currently between teams and injuries.
Jeff Janis was the man in high school and college but wasn’t given the chance in the nfl IMO. Now owns a tire shop in our home town, hated he played for the packers being a lions fan.
The only D1 school that showed interest in him was Central Michigan but they rescinded the scholarship because they felt Janis was not big enough to play D1 football at 6'1 180 a 4.7 in the 40 all they had to do was to redshirt him for one yr.I read his bio he ran the 100&200&400 plus Long Jump while in high school. If CMU had given him a chance he would be playing right now.Where he should have gotten a chance to play was at the FCS LEVEL of football. There is a guy COOPER KUPP he plays for the RAMS he went to Eastern Washington he holds the FCS CAREER MARKS for receptions(428) yds(6464) tds(73) if Janis had played at a FCS SCHOOL with these marks he would be playing right for the Giants or the Jets right now.
Justin Miller Your right Janis did not get a fair shake to show his talent and others said this as well.If he was still with the Packers he and Adams would be one of the top WR duos in the NFL.Adams send him on short and intermediate routes while use Janis as the obvious the knockout punch!!!!!
@@dwightlove3704 oh there’s no doubt, I watched the man in high school and college, dude had the full package at WR. Glad he got his foot in the door for the pros just wished things would’ve been differently. He’s a stand up guy with great ethics
@@millerman3 I bought his jersey after he made that catch vs.Arizona.All of his critics said he was a poor route runner but they never took into account his athleticism when he was on the field he made things happens.I was always saying that he should have been used in the same manner Minnesota used Randy Moss during his early years of the NFL.Allow him to display his athleticism he was called a ATHLETIC FREAK by pro scouts and that play vs.Arizona showed why.
Justin Miller recently I have begun to take interest in WHITE WRs who have reputations as deep threats and Janis definitely caught my attention while he was in college he became a NFL PROSPECT as a junior he grew into the position of WR he was listed at 6'3 219 and this part caught my attention he ran 4.30 in the 40 he grew 2 inches and gained 39 lbs. I think this could have happened if he was still at Central Michigan it would have made him much better in terms of exposure and talent level.
Nate Poole. In a Week 17 game, the Cardinals were in last place. Their opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, needed to win to make the playoffs and not waste a 5-0 start. The Vikings were leading 17-12 when Poole caught a touchdown as time expired to win the game. It was the highlight of what was otherwise an unremarkable 4 year career.
Mitch Trubisky has had a couple OK games over the years but mostly, he has been bad. Except for one game against the Bucs where he threw 6 touchdown, 5 in the first half, en route to a 48-10 win. As a Bears fan, I was so excited that we finally had an awesome QB but no, he didn't really do anything the rest of his time in Chicago. He is the backup in Buffalo now.
Larry Brown doesn't count because he was a starter on the Dallas Cowboys teams from 1993-1995 a lot of these players that's on this list wasn't starters.
I want to say Payton Hillis a RB that had a good game got hurt and left also surprised the world to be the cover athlete on Madden NFL 12 I was like huh? But I could but wrong 😑
@@rdp8059 I don’t hate the guy but him being in the Madden cover got me off guard he didn’t suck it was injuries that got him retired from the NFL I’m not a brown’s fan but stop ✋🏾saying Hillis sucks
The Colts were pretty good at giving up career high games to RBs during Peyton's era , too. I'll always remember the 06Jax game when they got 385 rushing yards , they would have 500+ but the endzone kept getting in the way.
Cook had a injury that ruined his career a TORN ROTATOR CUFF courtesy of The KC Chiefs if he had today's medical knowledge available to him he would have made a instant recovery and been a cinch for Canton he had the size 6'4 210 and talent to back it up.
