When you are discussing "play past the cringe" it reminds me of accelerated resolution therapy. It's replacing negative images from trauma events to positive ones, eliminating triggers. It also uses eye movement. It helps with many things! I've done it in therapy about 3 times and it's magical.
in terms of cringe , i just repeat the mantra " everyone has cringe moments " and i dont care anymore . Any body remember dolly magazines ? they had a bunch of probably bad stuff in them BUT they did have a section for writing in embarrassing moments and omg that section saved my sanity in highschool .
So, regarding potential project entitled, “The Journaling Course” , YES!!!❤YES we DO want to hear you talk more about journaling!!!🎉🎉🎉When and where can we purchase this course??!! Can’t wait!!!🥰🥰🥰
The breathing technique works because it informs your parasympathetic nervous system that you're not in danger and allows your body and brain to calm. Think of it as the opposite of hyperventilating, which is what happens in panic/danger.
I love your videos, because your advice is actually really meaningful, not just typical youtube videos about pomodoro hack and taking cold showers in the morning. My fav one here was play past the cringe, savouring the good feelings (algorithm part) and resistance mapping. Thanks!
This channel is a true gem 💜 I've applied some of your advice to my life and it definitely improved my well-being, specially regarding self-compassion. Thanks a lot 🙏
I’ve been doing the “timer system “ years now and it’s definitely been working for me. I didn’t know that was a thing 😮 there are many of these that you’ve mentioned here in past videos that I’ve been doing years now and didn’t know those were a thing lol😅 I love and enjoy your videos please post a little more often ❤ you Michelle tc
Lol, so useful for people who can't get sh*t done without getting their a** kicked... Like most pm, tell you how to do it but can't get it done themselves... Garbage!
Lovely video as always! I appreciate your focus on actionable and realistic tips. There are a number of things I've actually incorporated into my day that have made my life better.
Love your videos! This year I made my vision board in powerpoint and saved it as an image and put it as my computer desktop image. I see it constantly and it makes me feel so good every time :) and I have already achieved a few goals for the year!
Fantastic as always! A specific question about phone shortcuts - I’m setting up a new phone atm and just watched your video about cleaning up your phone Home Screen. Will you ever make a video about the shortcuts you use on iOS?
I absolutely love you and your videos, and had to completely pause the video when you mentioned wedding planning, because I totally missed that! Congratulations!!!!
Love your videos :) from one creator to another amazing work! I find that for me maintaining small habits is easier :) and by eliminating the friction between habit and me doing it! By placing the next habit next to the one just finished! For example, I wanna read after my workout! I just place a book next to me! as a constant reminder! I know it sounds a bit overwhelming but for a single parent with four children like I am it's perfect!
Re the cringe: I try reframing it. Rather than sinking into the cringe, try thinking that it's a sign of growth. You did something in the past that was cringe-worthy but now you know better. So you've grown enough to recognise it was not a great way to behave and now you're wiser. Lean in :)
How do you think Milanote compares to Notion and how much integration is there? I've used Notion for a long time, but it has its weaknesses (not being able to integrate GCal).
Thankyou for this video. Great tools to incorporate into our lives. I enjoy the content of your videos, but for me just find that you talk very quickly and this is not calming to listen too. I do understand you want to get the content out in a certain time frame.
Please speak lit bit slow you literally speak so fast like a bullet train. Your content is so good just slow down your pace dear so that non english speakers could also understand you better🙂🙂
