@@toeknee1505 Yeah you can get a decent lapel mic (at least better than whatever is in this) for £30 on Amazon and have it hook up to a phone recording app or other recording device, they spend more than that on the pizza in this video
Ik everyone’s commenting on the sound but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to subtitle over! That helps! Tess you’re the best and anyone who says otherwise stinks!
I don’t care that the audio wasn’t the best- I can read. I love your videos and I soooo miss NYC and pizza...stuck on the north side of the border, missing Broadway, pizza, central park, Target etc... at least I have your videos.
Chelsea Lupkin omg Chelsea I love you! I watched the video where you made cheesecake and let me tell you, you got talent! You are invited to the Mexican cookout ❤️
Tess, don’t be so hard on yourself! I still really enjoyed this and was definitely worth the watch. Thanks for still making content despite it being difficult :)
Loved this vid. Also, awesome to see NY is still alive. Since you're going with NYC themed eats lately, maybe do cheesecake next? Juniors and who knows what else.
Dude she is in New York city, its windy, and she doesnt have her normal camera man. If you go to anyone of her other videos they aren't like that, and she took the time to caption because she knew there were issues, so what I'm trying to say is leave her alone
@@kimberlykv4313 bruh that's because her hubbie dropped the mic of the set up, so they are going from the internal mic on the camera, which doesnt have a wind muffler. And she's not filming with the camera they usually use, just turn on captions
@@kaylanorway7988 It seems like you have alot of backstage knowledge that alot of us would not know. Also, delish is a professional channel, this isn't some independent creator who's going out there by themselves. I'm just saying, if your going to have a professional youtube with high production value then try to stick to what got you here in the first place. I'm not saying she doesn't do a good job on this episode in general, just take two shoots if the first one has crappy audio.
Seeing as I’m a 52 year old native and lifelong New Yorker, you would think that I’d hate this. I mean, some kid from Jersey traipsing around eating pizza in the West 80s, of all neighborhoods? However, I LOVE THIS! First off, Dirty Jerz absolutely had me the moment she uttered the phrase “the melodic fartiness from the Brussels sprout.” If that isn’t poetry for modern times, then I don’t know what is. Beside that, I’m so sick of people trying to name the single best slice of pizza in New York! The point of being in a great pizza city like New York isn’t that you don’t have to travel for an hour to wait in line for a famous slice. Save that nonsense for Topeka. The point of being in a great pizza city like New York is that you can go to your neighborhood joint and get better pizza than you can in most of the world.
YES Tess! Love every video you do, but I especially love this NY pizza edition. You’re making me miss home so much! Excuse me while I move back to NY. Also Tess, thank you for repping all of us chronically ill people who are also trapped inside right now, I really appreciate it!
I just want to say thank you! This has been a hard time for so many of us and your videos really bring a smile to my face. Thank you for all the sassiness
Honestly i live for this sound quality! It’s just tess being a trooper and going out during a pandemic filming for us. Just as the rest of us are trying to do their best with want we have. I mean i’ve been online teaching my highschool students with my cat showing his butt every once in a while, get over it and thank tess for making this 💪🏼❤️
Another amazing vid, Tess. Thank you for putting yourself out there for our entertainment- I get being anxious with tons of people walking around. This was a lot of fun - I’m definitely trying Made in New York whenever I’m able to travel over there. Take care of yourself and we’ll see you next time!
I love Tess & am so grateful she braved the outside world to bring us this video! To all the negative comments - a little patience and empathy would not go amiss. Tess, as someone who is also high-risk for COVID, I can't imagine how scary it was to be out and about and around people. I hope you stay well and safe.
Thank you for gently vocalizing my anxiety about leaving for the first time. This whole video made me feel like I’m not the only one freaking out about going to eat pizza or generally leaving the house at the moment.
i don't eat pizza but damn do brussels sound good on a pizza. also always love the energy from Tess. Everyone is doing the best with what they've got in this quarantine/social distancing era, and i'm just grateful for content to distract me from everything... love you guys.
Tess, you are out here bringing the people CON 👏🏻 TENT despite Ms. Rona. Thank you for making me hungry and for making me laugh. Do you think you'd be able to pull off a Katz Deli episode? I don't know how they're doing these days... maybe grilled cheeses?
This is fantastic! Super cool! I’ve missed these videos! I watched all the Disney ones while pregnant! Now enjoying this while my little one takes a nap! Hope you can make more of these videos! So refreshing to see more things like this!
The pizza tour I didn't know I needed! The next time I am in NYC, I will definitely try some of these places. Would love to see a deli tour - loving so much Tess content lately!
Thank YOU Tess for this awesome video! I enjoyed it! Especially the pigeons flying at you part🤣. Yes the audio isn’t great but thankfully we can all read an also, just being able to watch Tess in all her food coma glory is legit the bees knees!
Chelsea has been training Tess for this moment - having to eat standing up anywhere! Also, I think invoking her brought the bugs around to bring some back normalcy 😂 Love these btw!
Someday when this BS is over, it would be fun to see a pizza review of New Haven, CT pies! Aside from New Haven, back in college, in 1981, I was introduced to my first pizza with pineapple on it. I fell in love! It was a thin crust red pie with light on the mozz, pepperoni and pineapple, sprinkled with grated cheese and hot pepper flakes. Holy yummage! great vid, thank you. I understand your fear of crowds. Be safe.
Tess is SO entertaining! She needs her own show! Too bad the audio is so bad I had to struggle to watch this, but I did because she is so fun to watch!
This was great! I’m glad you were able to safely get some pizza from places near your abode. For your next vid, maybe something on the sweet side? Whatever you decide on I’m sure I’ll love 💕
Finally an out of the airlock Helen real food Tessepisode! I mean, if trying rice cakes became necessary. I would still watch. But I take a outside vlog any day.
I love how Tess can describe food so well and recognizable. I enjoyed her honest and unapologetic opinion sharing. The animated maps with familiar accompanying music is always fun (and awesome). Dear Delish- please send Tess a microphone because I can not hear her sarcastic wit over the deafening NY soundscape, which is a damn loss to us all.
Thank you! Great to see you. Ideas: falafel, ramen, cappuccinos or coffee drinks, bakery for baguettes, chinese take away. I like Michael but I miss Chelsea and you at Disney and theme parks. There’s always the threat and danger of a ride. Maybe ride nyc bus as alternative in between eats. Maybe cover fairs next available opp.
Yeah, the sound is bad. We get it. Just appreciate the subs. Or even better, just appreciate somebody, who despite the risks of the pandemic and despite being very obviously extremely anxious, tries to put out some great content for us to watch.
I am a new subscriber to your channel and especially love your theme park videos. I wish you would go to Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri. It's been in the top five of theme parks for years and this year was voted number one in a USA today poll. It's like a mountain Community from 100 years ago with amazing rides. I think you would enjoy it and I can't wait to see your food vlogs if you go there
Reuben sandwiches, or just sandwiches in general. Or maybe best Jewish delis? So glad to see you are getting out and about on occasion though. I know that anxious feeling all too well, and being cooped up at home for so long makes those journeys out that much worse. We just barely did eat in at our local favorite burger place for the first time. We were only one of three sets of customers spaced waayyyy far apart and all the doors were open, plus fans for more air (4 door ways for lots of airflow) in the middle of a beautiful part of Vermont. Also don't know what NYC's stance on pancakes (or french toast) are, or if you even enjoy them, but that could make for a fun video as well.
Two things I heavily enjoyed: *Tess’s description of the perfect chapstick grease layer forming on her lips, and The Office energy exuded from her husband Michael’s name next to the words- that’s what she said. Gold*
Maybe do an “around the world” eating challenge in NYC. Because at some of the parks you were eating different types of food from various cultures. Just an idea ☺️
This is the type of woman I want to smoke a blunt with, listen to her talk for hours, cook her some fried rice with every bit of the leftovers in the fridge, then fall asleep on the couch together. Her voice *could* be annoying, except everything she says is great, so it's just really sweet.
