Exactly. They said Pokémon that require certain items and/or trade method to evolve aren't allowed in this challenge video. They never once mentioned anything about ones that evolve via level up with high friendship because that's the only other way that Eevee evolves.

@@broimcolt9949 Yeah some of the gen 7 mons are pretty forgettable. There are some in every gen but gen 7 and 8 haven't been around long enough for them to find a place in my mind.

@@xp3ngu1n that's easy quick GG reads the moves to chillen, it's a typical blindpick like their others where they choose based off type. They don't know the mons just the moves. It rewards them for coverage more than raw stats. We've seen bad Pokemon with great movesets and vice versa. So this would be an awesome choose your moves get surprised by the mon

xP3ngu1n if you look at how many times They reset for their select randomly they do 9 resets. They do the same amount for select the moveset. 9 resets and check moves. It’s no more than when they choose and random and have 3 passes. Same thing applies but they only need 3 randomizes files each. It’s actually no more effort than their typical videos.

in smogon it is banned couse noobs dont know to bring at least 1 pokemon with a no miss move, in vgc etc it is totally fair to use but in doubles you dont have the time to setup 1 double team let alone 4

Many Mythicals and Legendaries was already banned, here is the current list: Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Magearna, Marshadow, Zeraora, Meltan, Melmetal, Zacian, Zamazenta, Eternatus and Zarude. This list just saw some massive changes, but what's new, is fact that they also banned a lot of regular pokemon. Here is the full list: Venusaur, Gyarados, Porygon2, Tyranitar, Torkoal, Hippowdon, Magnezone, Togekiss, Excadrill, Whimsicott, Incineroar, Mimikyu, Rillaboom, Cinderace, Indeedee and Dragapult.

Heck they even Made Gmax galar starter to ignore the ability. What's the point for baning these Mons after they just introduced it last season?(the galar starters)

The real issue here was double team, which has been banned for years in VGC.

VGC banned it as it was top 10 most used in singles. The set that was most common was life orb swords dance.

@@McMaster1471 I've looked into it and supposedly they make "genned" pokemon which are slightly different than hacked pokemon. The difference being accurate stats and movesets. Apparently pokemon will only punish you for having pokemon with stats or moves that they cannot naturally have.

Machamps.com is a buisness thing where they gen in pokemon legal for battle, all shiny and that, they advertise using suprise trades on okay mons, but they sell package deals for specific pokemon and that...I've randomly got a couple from them before

Jared Plue there’s a big difference from hacked and genned pokemon, you should research first. if its hacked you won’t be able to use them in online raids or trade them in the first place 😉
