The entitlement, selfishness and lack of empathy are symptoms of sheer *immaturity.* Living very sheltered lives and decades of the constant lies from ph3m2n1st controlled media have enabled this arrested development. Generally, they feel they are not accountable, or, responsible for anything and everything. As a vvomen, she is gawd’s gift to the world regardless of how poorly she acts. She is owed a top-tier man, and, the provider she has, she “settled” for. She does not have empathy, because not only is the world all-about-her, you, as a man, are the oppressor. She is sheltered from the dangers of the world and like a spoiled child feels the servants (including her husband/boyfriend) are lucky to be in her presence and should just shut-up (or be replaced). A lot of this delusion comes crashing down once they hit the wall, and lose a lot of male attention (the validation of their preciousness that they are addicted to). Then, they become bitter and resentful. As her husband or boyfriend, you are to bear the punishment she feels mankind must face for not continuing to bow to her. You have every reason and every right to be indignant. No one deserves to be treated with the disrespect that a lot of vvomen treat men with.

Good men should not be servants of their wives. 2. Good men should avoid marriage and modern feminist women. 3. Good men should focus on self discipline, saving money, and buying good land. 4. Good men should not listen to women for advice. 5. Good men should not be afraid of offending a woman. Women use this to control men.

Although these days it's probably the minority, there are God-fearing good women who love God, their husband, and their family above all else, including a career. Who know how to take accountability, have a good head on their shoulders, and can offer their husband good advice and let him lead. Who don't care about materialistic items and would rather have the good land you mentioned. Rare but does exist.

Guilt is a good thing. It is not pleasant, but so is pain. Guilt is a spiritual pain when you know you are doing something wrong. You are essentially digging a thorn out of her foot and she is complaining because she realizes it hurts. Get that crap out of her and she can genuinely heal.

no, that's what the feminists are telling you. Set your priorities straight. Family first. What's the most important for the family? Strong independent MAN that's healthy and knows he is the foundation of the family so that mean YOU need to put yourself first in everything because if YOU fail then everything is going to turn to crap. Men needs to dominate the relationship and yes that includes all the heavy lifting BUT it also requires you to be the MAN, have some balls, authority, not show emotions, knowing what to do and to tell your woman to shut up, put up, cook and stop asking her for permission. We were made to think that we are weak like women and we were told lot of bullshit about women that's not true. We are not weak, and women are not empathetic or strong. Men are the ones who are strong, capable and have empathy - that's why men are running towards danger and to save others, that's required for our role. Women are selfish, manipulative, weak creatures - but that's required for their role and survival. Just because men don't cry doesn't mean we don't have empathy. It just means we control our emotions and not the other way around - capability which women lack.

My ex-wife was a crafter. She was very good at it, and I always made sure I noted that in front of others. I looked at and critiqued her work honestly, and only on a rare occasion would I tell her that I wasn’t fond of some project. For me riding motorcycles was a passion. After doing it for years, I finally took her on a short ride with me. She never showed an iota of interest in what I loved. The one ride I took her on she summed up by “It’s boring”. Claimed all I did was talk about motorcycles (not). If I had a dollar for any time I discussed riding beyond “I’m going out for a ride”, I might have $20 over 5 years. If I got that same buck for every project I was shown, every photo I took of her modeling them, every opinion solicited, etc I’d have had many hundreds of dollars. In the end, it’s all about them and will always be all about them. If you find one that isn’t self-centered it’s a rare unicorn indeed in this world.

According to your list, i am a good husband, yay! :) I used to think that people don´t change. But like you (if i understood you correctly), my wife changed. My once loveless, intimacy-withholding, demanding, emasculating, controlling and nagging wife changed! It´s some years now and the change is persisting. Granted, i had to threaten to leave her (and i was dead serious back then, i was inches from walking away), but she asked for some thinking time and after about a week, apologized for her behaviour in the years before and promised to change - and she did! We still fight from time to time and get on each others nerves and stuff, but all in all we get along, we respect each other, we support each other and life is good. There´s hope!

I did all of those things for 30 years and my wife was entitled, ungrateful, resentful, would not reciprocate but instead withhold, invalidating and threw herself on the ground and squealed victim to everyone that would listen. I have withdrawn everything. She still expects that she can live in “the land of do as you please” and I will be her wallet. I told her when the kids are done - so am i. i wont engage in her awfulness any longer. you cant make someone happy when theyre invested in control and unhappiness

So, how many men out there are like me? You realized after years of a sexless marriage that your wife was never really attracted to you. Oh, she thought you were kinda cute, but not really that guy that got her juices flowing. Hell, you weren't even in her top five picks for potential husbands. No, those guys all got away and took a piece of her heart with them. You were just the guy she settled for, a consolation prize of sorts. No wander, she stopped having sex with you. And when she cheats or decides, she finally deserves better than the guy she sex trapped into marriage i.e. you, she's gone. You are left with a broken heart and mind, and little else. Not wanting to leave you guys feeling helpless. Here's a few words of advice, if your girl isn't chasing you, isn't making the first move, didn't tell you she loved you first, she's not the one. Plane and simple, whatever anyone says about relationships is smoke and mirrors. Did you ever settle for a car or truck just because that's all you could afford? How'd that feel? See what I mean. Now your trying to figure out how to make it look better, sound better, and go faster. But that's just lipstick on a pig, isn't it. So don't be the guy she settles for, be her first choice, or no choice at all. Because the alternative is no alternative at all.

I've adopted a philosophy on failed relationships....for myself of coarse. First order of self analysis is what negative behavior did I allow ? What bad habit did I allow to fester? Was I too passive aggressive? Did I not love myself when it I needed to the most? Did I get lost in putting " her" needs a priority to the point of sacrificing my peace of mind? Here's why I put myself through such a review. As much as I have fought against the reality of the benefits of being " cold hearted,,& " care- free"; I can't deny that the men that adhere to those two traits are rewarded with the respect,& submission that has eluded me. As someone once stated...." water is wet",& female nature is what it is. Being a " GOOD MAN" must start with being good to yourself first,& foremost. I went through this. The woman in my past relationship did not cherish herself or make herself important to herself, so she was definitely not able to receive the way that I cherish a woman. I've been extremely lucky to be married to a wonderful and beautiful woman (31y together, 26y married). But even having experienced my own marriage, I would still think long and hard before I advise my son to take the same route. Marriage is really an outdated institution. The main thing that women should take away from your videos is always the fact that if you are not happy with yourself, nothing else will make you happy. I tried for years to get my STBXW to see that. Tried to convince her to exercise, get therapy, get on medication, something to address her chronic depression and malaise. She refused every time. Meanwhile, she shut me completely out, left me begging for affection and attention in a sexless marriage, and constantly told me everything wrong I was doing. Finally had enough this year, and showed her one of your videos. She had a completely predictable response, and a week later I asked for a separation.

It is all about reciprocity and appreciation. I do most of those things, and my wife reciprocates by showing gratitude, regular sex, doing the cooking and cleaning while I'm at work, etc. I think there is a real issue with many men and women being reluctant to just show appreciation, saying thank you for working a day, having a cooked meal prepared, or whatever. Selfish pride is a big part of it. The "guys need to take out the trash because that is their job" attitude kills any desire to do it. If he takes you on a glamping vacation instead of backpacking, acknowledge it and show interest in his backpacking pictures, even though you didn't go.

I did many of these things. There seemed to not be reciprocal efforts, and frequent criticisms. I wasn’t perfect, but was always pursuing growth. As you discussed in other videos, she never seemed to be happy deep within herself. That spilled over to everything else. Now looking back I realise why I was getting sad, frustrated, angry, discouraged. Each of us is responsible for our own happiness. I can’t fill a black hole to make someone else feel ‘whole.’ In the process, I lose myself and am destroyed. I am on a new path of life and healing, and will seek healthy people going forward, it’s not my job to fix others problems or to look for a ‘diamond in the rough.’

Since the day we moved into our home after being married, I suddenly found that there were so many necessary things in a home to do, but she was unable to assist with. The basic, cooking any meal; cannot; dishwashing, I don't like doing that, disappears when the kitchen needs tidying up after cooking and washing dishes. Reluctance to allow intimate moments more often than she wants, what I refuse to do, unless she is not well, washing laundry. For the sake of my two children, I have stuck it out. No real happy moments anymore, just plod along as age is against me.

I love your heart, love that you are encouraging the "reach across the great divide" between the completely different thinking, and, basis for thinking, of men and women. If you think about the creation narrative… Eve was taken from Adam… A part of Adam that he no longer has, is embodied in her. They are two incomplete halves of a whole! When we got married, I was often commenting that "I feel complete" and 41 years later, I still feel that way. Not always easy, even difficult, it is still exciting, challenging, rewarding, fruitful, but ultimately fulfilling. Has it been always easy? Of course not. Two independent, selfish persons came into a relationship with no "Plan B" - - we were in it with no escape hatch. That will make you work on it.

I purposely did not comply with everything on the wish list or honey do list. The projection is "i'm unhappy because you didn't take the garbage our or mow the lawn" but I always knew with my wife that this wasn't the case. The lists are a form of control ...once you comply with everything you are under control. The "happiness" projection is a facade, If you comply with everything your spouse has to confront the reality that their happiness truly isn't linked to these tasks and unless they understand who they are the effects of getting everything they demanded yet still feel unhappy will have deleterious consequences.

One of the things that is so important, along the lines of Dr. Jordan Peterson talking about in marriage that there has to be "negotiation." Early on with high passion, it is often assumed that nonverbal communication leads to intimacy and sex. Later on, you have to talk about it: "hey there, would you be interested in having sex with me tonight? A tough question! Hanging out there, with the risk of being rejected! On the other hand, I have found it to be precisely what was missing; an actual conversation about the two of us being exposed/vulnerable/open to each other, and, more often than not, a positive "yes, that would be fun." It may be, guys, that we are merely not asking the right question.

Me being 19-1/2 years older than her going through treatments for chronic Lyme disease replied with I don’t have the energy to raise children or the income to support a family. Like when my Mom (rip) asked why I was not getting flowers from her house, on some occasion and bringing them to . “Mom I said, that woman gets enough of me. I show her every single day.” I do right up to the max till I start to feel resentment. Then I’ve had enough.

It would be a wild standard to exist for a man to do the things he didn’t want to do, to make her happy and put on a good face, and then *gasp* for her to do the same and put on a good face and do the thing he wanted to do she didn’t love. You get like 3 of those at the very beginning of the relationship and that’s it. I’ve seen women blow up relationships because he didn’t do something he didn’t want to do once that she wanted to do, and she NEVER ONCE did the stuff he wanted to do with him. However if he blew it up he’s be called toxic and this and that by everyone, but for her it’s “knowing her worth” to blow it up.

I believe her point was (in reverse order) to stop believing you’ll make her happy when you do these ten things which good men want/like to do for their wives because these are ways we show affection/love. You can still do them because that’s who you are and you believe your wife deserves to be treated/loved properly, but (as Karyn puts it), do not do these ten things BELIEVING your actions will make her happy because her happiness is an internal thing that only she controls/decides. That make sense?
