And I drove the car conservatively so I when I filled up this week, my measured MPG was 131.4. I figure that the car saves me about $80 / month. Of course with the charger and additional cost for the PHEV, it will likely take 10 years to break even. But it's probably the major thing I'm doing for the environment other than recycling.
