Speaking on behalf of intjs we don't want to be the bad guy, we don't always like to be the bad guy, but if we must we will become your worst enemy. We may or may not like it. But once you are our enemy the closest you can get to us is neutrality, you will never have our trust again. Just think about that before you interact with one of us.

We don't have poor EQ, we just aren't going to allow someones (even our own) feelings change facts or cloud our judgement. Part of EQ is being able to manage your emotions in situations not constantly having emotional breakdowns; sure you can acknowledge someone's emotions but that doesn't mean you have to get hysterical with them. Just imagine if first responders acted like the people they are helping...

Nothing pisses me off more than an incompetent boss telling me I have to consider other people's feelings. Why not consider mine? Why must I always be the one who has to compromise while everyone else gets to be incompetent? How many times have I heard the phrase "yes, you're right BUT..." This is a workplace, not a daycare! Most of my frustration in life had been in the workplace. I now work mostly for myself, and have a p/t job where others' incompetence doesn't affect me in any way. Life is good.

I have a friend, INTJ, who never gets annoyed when I ask him how he's doing and generally how he's feeling. He always answers calmly and judiciously, even if briefly. Sometimes I don't have much information to understand his exact condition, but I never impose on him to answer in more detail. He even sometimes asks me how I'm doing and how I'm feeling on his own. Does this behavior on the part of INTJ count as an act of trust with me? Because in a normal situation INTJs do not hide their irritation about it, and then they can avoid certain topics of discussion or even people.

I have a VERY short fuse with klutz who DO interrupt... constantly....get to the end of a phone conversation and, obviously, haven't listened to ANYTHNG they were told. I'm an INTJ and i find the information showed in this video to be mostly accurate. However, there are several where I sorta disagree with and these being numbers 7, 8, 9, 10. They still generally got things correct, but they lack a bit of nuance. I'm going to elaborate on them a bit further for folks to get a clearer understanding. #7. Small talk -- Plenty of INTJs actually enjoy small talk, similar to how exotroverts typically enjoy it. Depending on the individual an INTJ is hanging out with by simply making him/her feel comfortable or meshes exceptionally well because their inherent temperaments, attitudes, core values, interests and energy levels are so similar, which is also known as having great chemistry, the INTJ is prone to become a motor mouth or chatter box. Lol! #8. Laziness and ineffectivess -- INTJs are able to tolerate laziness if a circumstance or situation reveals there is no reason compelling enough to warrant diligent work. Many non-INTJs forget that INTJs often prioritize efficiency, so long when it's a doable and realistic approach. Preference to "Rather work smart, rarely hard" is the motto with the typical INTJ. When it comes to ineffectivess, INTJs, especially the mature individuals, can be very compassionate and forgiving. An example would a colleague or coworker lacking the proper training and experience due to unfair treatment and lack opportunities, or simply new to a particular role that prevented them from being effecive with assigned tasks, the INTJ is more than willing to give them a pass out of pity and may even reasonably set some time aside at helping what the person needs, so he/she could perform up to a satisfying degree. #9. Surprises in the last minute -- Not necessarily. If the surprise turns out that it somehow greatly benefits them or proves to bring fruitful results in the long run for the INTJ, especially when it neatly fits into one of the INTJ's goals, the INTJ will understandably become delighted and relish in the moment! #10. Avoid finishing tasks given by INTJ -- Similarly to the previous statements, it really depends. If the INTJ arrives to the conclusion that a given task aint worth the trouble due to a myriad of reasons, such as not being aligned with their closely guarded moral code, principles, became irrelevant from underlying dynamics that changed or evolved over time, or is no longer practical, the INTJ is more than happy to absolve the responsibility from you, including the INTJ absolving himself/herself from that task.

the surprise one.. not only do I get upset or exhausted, I have a literal mental break down. Usually I don't like to show emotions at all to anyone. However, if you disturb my plans, I will cry and breakdown if there is no hiding place to do that. Once, My mother forcingly took me to a parlor (keep in mind I hate all these manicue or pedicure etc) So, I carefully planned everything with what she told me she'll do in the parlor. I estimated the time, my next whole day plan and I was determined. So when my facial n all was done, I was satisfied becz it was the exact time I had expected but suddenly my mom spoke to the parlor lady saying "Why don't you wax her facial, neck and arm hair?" I already hated everything they did in the parlor, then suddenly she wanted to wax which is smth I detest! Like really really hate. Then my time got messed up, everything I planned had to shift and many things I was supposed to do won't be able to be done. the thought if this got me so fired up that I started crying. (instead of showin my anger, I usually cry to let it out and stay calm and composed) she was waxing and i was crying. the lady then said "You must have pampered her for her to cry like this". There was another lady who was also getting waxed, was just laughing at me and my mom was like "Oh its fine its fine" After I got mad at my mom, she was still like "Whats wrong with you?" Tell me Its all my fault or hers?

I am an INTJ but ta few things about it for me are rules, last minute plans and small talk. If a rule makes good sense to me I really will follow it but it is true when the rules are stupid I do completely ignore them. I wouldn't say that I outright hate rules though. Some rules are for keeping you and other people safe. They have a logical reason why and so I am fine with that. I usually do hate last minute plans but there are certain people in which they will ask me to go somewhere and I am fine with it. Not talking parties or anything crazy. Like my sister coming in from out of state or my friend wanting to go to the comic shop. Both instances though I have ample time to plan out everything I want to do and expect from the encounter though. When it's something you did a lot you don't need that much time to have a solid plan for it to be fair. With small talk while in general I do hate it but with some people I actually don't mind it so much. Largely though because with the people I do talk with in that manner I can move it to a more meaningful conversation or at least get a few jokes going. Sometimes I just make the effort because I want to keep that person in my life. I might not need it but they do. Maybe I am not that social, need time to recharge alone and come across as cold and unfeeling because I embrace logic over emotion. I still like to laugh, enjoy jokes and memes. It gives me a break from worrying and stressing as much. I do tend to plan a lot of things out, worry about the future and stress over what I plan to do about it. In my opinion the personality types are merely a generalization of a personality. In general you might exhibit these traits but I feel there is room for uniqueness. We as people are individuals with different interests, experiences and personalities. Don't matter your type you might like something or do something that can be seen as atypical. However, I think that it would be perfectly normal. One INTJ is not the exact same as another INTJ. Same for every type. People are not generalized robots but instead individual people with different preferences, cultural backgrounds and different life experiences. You can still in general be a certain type have your own caveats. Be your own person and don't conform to some list. :)
