I love to chat with you all and answer all questions so feel free to comment down below! For mentoring sessions feel free to direct message me on IG @mandaa_jaime. I'm looking forward to helping all of you on your journey to becoming estheticians!
I was a vet tech for 7 years and decided to switch careers and I’m on week 3 of esthetician school and I’m in LOVE! I always thought I would work with animals my whole life and got honestly really sad and since being in school.. something had changed in me. I’m envisioning my hire self, and I’m so happy I did this.. only worry is my Instagram page and since I’m just starting off, but I think I can get it with help from your videos , I will continue to watch! Thanks girl! ❤️❤️❤️
As a former beautician and entrepreneur I agree with all your tips , love how you say “ know your worth “ it’s a physical and mental job ladies, you must have passion and a calling … on my page I also teach sales skills which was the biggest reason I lasted as long as I did in the industry, you must learn sales, it’s part of the treatment ❤
I’m starting esthetics school next week & I’m so excited ! I’ve been looking into this field for about a year & a half now just to make sure it’s something I really wanna do & mannn I can’t wait ! Lol
I've been watching your videos and stalking your business IG page since yesterday. I have been wanting to become an Esthetician for about a year now, and while doing my research I came upon your videos, and I love how honest and open you are! Thank you for taking your time to not only give your viewers advice on the esty world but also encouraging us😊
You are absolutely right about Tradeshows. I worked in that industry prior to deciding to go to esthie school. Discounted product and continuing education benefits at those shows.
I’m a junior in high school and i really want to be an esthetician!! what classes should I take and how long did it take altogether for you to become one?? I love the vids btw 🤩
Thank you so much for your tips Amanda! I am looking to go to school to hopefully become a licensed esthetician. This video was very helpful even in 2022. 😊
Thank you for the inspiration!! 💕 I’m currently going to esthetician school in California and I’m patiently waiting for my school to open up again to finish my program and get my career going !! 🤩
I realize now how much I want to be an esthetician, I enjoy making people feel beautiful inside and out 🥰 I cannot wait to start my journey!! Just need to find a good affordable school 🥴😭 help?
I hate that esthetics is so focused on selling. I don’t want clients feeling like I’m just trying to make $$ off them... they’re already spending so much
the way i started seeing it, all skin care doesn’t come from facial so they need to do stuff for their own skin as well. and some people don’t know where to start when it comes to their own skin care. i think if you can recommend products it makes it easier on them because they don’t have to take so much time to do their own research and you as a professional want the best for them!! xx
I’m a student now and I’m looking into buying my own equipment and have my own business but I’m sure I’ll have to get a “booth” do you think it’s worth going into it alone after school or should I go work for someone else?
You motivate me. I am interested in doing Esthetician program. So i can have my own business. How long is this program take to finish? I am so impressed with it.
Love your videos, tips, knowledge and encouragement!! I’m only in the beginning stage and deciding if it’s possible for me to go to school. Do you recommend any schools in central Florida, since you’re also in Florida? Thank you again! 💁🏼♀️
I have binged watched all you videos! I am currently a undergrad at a 4 year college and I am hoping to go into dermatology in the end. However I was thinking about doing esthetician school with my next semester. When you were in school how much of a workload did you come home with?
Thank you for watching! I’m in Florida and also finished my undergrad. The work load for esthetics school is nothing compared to under grad. You got this girl 💕
Thank you for this. I needed to hear this 🤍 I do have a question. Did you feel like super knowledgeable with your skin analysis getting out of schoolor during it .does it get better when seen clients ?
Absolutely not. School goes by so fast I felt like I knew nothing and I’m still learning daily, everyone’s skin is so different. I’m only 1 year in but it does get better and you begin to get more confident
Were you always interested in the ingredients that went into everything or was it something you just had to learn? I'm scared that it's not a good fit for me as a career because what if I can't retain all the information about the ingredients. I mean if i want to learn it i will.. but I'm wondering if i should actually be interested in it to begin with... and if other estys struggle with this..
I have a passion for skin care and making skin products so I want to get a certificate so I can do it on the side. I am currently doing a double major degree in geography and environmental science plus I have a permanent job in customer care but my skin care passion is calling me lol. I am from Trinidad and since covid the field has been booming with self employed ppl doing waxing etc.
Hi! I’m only 16, but I want to become an esthetician when I’m older, but I do have a ton of questions on some things, I’m not really expecting a response to this but I just thought it’d be good to take a chance!!
Great info thank you for sharing, Side note, not hating but I was trying to eat dinner while watching this and GURLLLL the ads, I had to stop and click skip every 5minutes, like no need for this many ads. I got frustrated after 15mins and stopped watching. Love the content just less ads please
@@amandajaime_29 I'm in Tampa to this is cool. Im starting AIB school for the full specialist course. I don't have the $60 but wanted to know if I would be a esthetician after I'm done with school
