I wouldn't advise putting nails through peel n stick. Nails can get lose and eventually be leak points but screws will self thread so they won't leak. In the summer it'll stick to the nail but in the winter it'll contract and you may have a leak point.
This was interesting! I also like that you reply to comments from a long time ago! Can you make a video on how to order metal underlayment? I found interesting that table that you inserted at 2:05, there are many aspects to consider when ordering the material due to the different types of roof. I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching. RU-vid gives me some awesome tools to help me serve my audience really well. I always say if the information was valuable you can show your appreciation but hitting the thanks button underneath the video and donate to the cause. Again thanks for watching and glad the video was helpful. Your video request has been documented
@Architectural Sheet Metal 101 that's crazy , I guess different standards for different areas. I'm in bc canada and you always put down primer including if you lap onto another peice
I've tested it many times....when the outside temp is above 10/15 degrees this stuff is stick...after it's been on the roof under the sun it's cooked on there so good you would rip the plywood up if you tried to pull it off
@Architectural Sheet Metal 101 yeah no I've installed it in the summer time and it's almost impossible to work with If it touches anything it'll stick to it so yah it definitely gets baked on. Just different areas have different regulations etc is all.
