I don't understand how pretending to choke someone with a tie is so terrible. I've seen wrestlers pretend to choke people with chairs, stairs, ring ropes, and bare hands. But a tie is just so wrong, right? -_-
I actually like Simon, though Adam is classic I think Simon is more entertaining, plus with that storyline of pachitti club vs bx whatculture basically pulled a wwe by turning Adam (which ik it's kayfabe here) heel, just like they did with Michael Cole in 2011, u made your voice become a heel? Wierd
No, I just think Matt wasn't able to craft himself a gimmick that'd stand out from all the other generic mid-carders until his time in TNA. But the fact that he was in TNA not WWE at that time was inconsequential, tbh. And tb even more h, "Broken" Matt Hardy is only so effective because it's so fresh. In a locker room that's positively bursting with generic light heavyweights who wear tight pants and no shirt, don't do much on the mic, and rely on their average technical skills to skirt by, an over the top gimmick like Broken/Woken Matt Hardy pushes one above the fray. Especially considering how truly unremarkable Matt's career was after his amazing original Hardy Boyz run. Matt Hardy v.1 was, at the end of the day, just another generic WWE mid-card heel. And after that phase passed, he was just another hugely average wrestler wearing cargo pants and tank tops. So him adopting a gimmick like Broken/Woken really grabs fans by the boo-boos and makes him finally worthy of our full attention. But regardless, Matt still ain't no main eventer. He's firmly in that area just above "mid-carder" but just below "main eventer" now. The gimmick is cool and all, but he just doesn't have the in ring skills necessary to push him over the top. But at least now he's finally decided to acquire a PERSONALITY. I mean goddamn, after his feud with Edge he was mostly just a blank expression who wrestled bland matches while peppering in gestures from v.1 and moves from his Hardy Boyz days. He really floundered for a while without Jeff there to support him.
You forgot sticking up for your girlfriend, which is what happened to John Morrison after Melina got fired for complaining about the Divas having to job for Trish at Raw 1000 (IIRC)
I think Hassan would of done fine if they didn't book that specific day to do that. If the terrorist attacks didn't happen I doubt he would of been fired.
+Justin: He wasn't fired, his gimmick was axed and he didn't want to go back down to OVW. The gimmick was very good, but they should of just made him a face.
Dat Elf The other wreslters forgot it was a gimmick. The guy was even born in Syracuse, New York. I think they saw the potential the guy had and just looked for an excuse to hate.
+- Hugh - Great wrestler? No, he was horrible. No one can name a good Hassan match. Because there were none. And he wrestled Benoit, Jericho, Benjamin and Undertaker.
I've watched every video of yours and love every single and I've been suscribed since literally the beginning! I remember how small you guys were like a year ago and now an amazing channel!
Wow. People throw suggestions around all the time about how wrestlers on different promotions should perform for WWE, but the chances are they've likely considered it already and thought NO! Why? Most of this bullshit right here. Well done Vince *claps slowly* well done......
The so called "boss" at 6:25 is the county executive of the county where I live, Mark Hackel. I don't know why or how you guys found that image to display, but that's absolutely amazing.
crashpal he wasn't fired for having an opinion. He just left because he doesn't understand the politics and just think he should have things handed to him. At least he got that in ufc. Got his ass handed to him.
brians and Finleys firing were kind of a blessing for me. so I had a chance to see them both live at least once over here in germany. Brian is as of today the only wrestler I wanted to take a a picture with. which a did in his short break with the E
Vince boothed Gangrel but didnt booth Flair for exposing his wrinkly skin Goes to show you that unless you're Triple H, Cena, Taker, Flair or Vince, anyone can get fired #WeSaluteYouJR
LOL Paul London grinning like an idiot is one of the things I remember most from that exploding limo segment, didn't realize it was so horrible though, I thought it was pretty in line with the Hooliganz' devil-may-care/happy-go-lucky gimmick to smile at a bewildered, disillusioned Vince while everyone else shifted around dour-faced
Paul London was such a good performer. I hope he'll come back some day, like in the Cruiserweight tournament for exemple, it would be such a goddamn blast.
3:50 i thought i knew that pic, its oddicombe beach in babbacome, Torquay where i live WHOOOO. Yes you can get around i use-to go tomb-stoning (not the move) around the corner to the right of the pic, Ahh the good ol-dayz :P
I could be wrong, but I think we are being set up for a turn. Maybe a face turn for Blampied (he has been pretty heelish lately), a heel turn for Simon (he has been busting on Adam B. In some of the recent videos), or they may try a double turn (they kind of set that up with the turn videos just before WM and there has been hints of that in real WWE).
Poor Gangrel! I have just met him last Saturday, I been a fan for 20 years now! He's so lovely to fans and works so hard world wide- Vince made a big mistake with him! Gangrel gave me a massive cuddle and to say has some weight about him that is not just muscle- he is rock solid! He can untuck his shirt for me me any day!!!
Paul London was always one of my favourites. I loved his gimmick, I loved his moveset, I loved him. I always wondered why he suddenly disappeared and now I know... what a shitty thing to do.
