This slide show features 9 of the existing Wurlitzer 165 band organs. The late Seabreeze 165 is also included. The 2 organs not represented are #3437, in a private collection in Rhode Island (no audio available), and #3106, which has been restored to completion and after being fitted with a new facade will take its place as the second 165 in the Neilson collection.

Wherever possible I sampled recordings already on RU-vid in their entirety, rather than clips of tunes that otherwise aren't on RU-vid. The Sanfilippo and Carrousel Music clips are from recordings that are not and have not been available for purchase. The Circus World, Santa Cruz and Neilson clips are from videos by Wurlitzer157, sbrickles, and wurly164, respectively. The Connecticut and Wisconsin organ clips are from Klavier's "Catch The Brass Ring" and "Catch Another Brass Ring," respectively. The New Hampshire organ clip is from a recording that was sold at Griffith Park. The Glen Echo clip is from a recording sold by Max Hurley. The Seabreeze clip is from a recording made by Matthew Caulfield. I got permission to use most of the photos for my 2 MBSI articles on the 165s...
