They really did rusev dirty. I remember the ridicilous stories they put him and his wife with dolph ziggler and bobby lashley. Rusev's burial doesn't look like a normal one. It felt personal and looked like Vince wanted to utterly humiliate and destroy him completely.
@@NYRyder1983 Dude i don't know if its true but apparently they were planning a storyline in which lana didn't love rusev anymore and was cheating on him because he has erectile dysfunction. That is insane if its true.
That's because Rusev & Lana were engaged to married behind the scenes. More than half of the fans knew about it & so did Vince. He tried to break them up like he did Sable & Marc Mero back in the 90's.
Vince hating on cesaro is uncalled for he's one of the most sound people on the roaster no beef, no trouble and he looked likes a professional every time.
I don’t think he actually dislikes him, but he knows what Cesaro is worth. He’s enhancement talent, used to get others over. And if this was an issue for Cesaro, he’d have left WWE a long time ago.
He probably gave him that character because Vince thought it wouldn’t ever get over and it would simply if anything annoy the universe. Little did he know it would back fire. Total schmuck😂😂
Now Gail Kim is Impact Wrestling HOF and has achieved success throughout her in ring career at Impact Wrestling. If she stayed WWE, she will be wasted. She made the right decision to quit WWE.
I always used to wonder why Gail Kim didn't get a better push. Her in-ring talent really popped off the screen especially next to the lack of top tier talent on the roster at the time. Now I know why. It sad how many times Vince has let personal feelings get in the way of possibly good business decisions.
I remember someone shooting say vince didnt understand the appeal of "asians", I mean he was in love with Sable when he signed her one. Says it all tbh
Its always been about Vince if your gimmick wasnt Vinces idea even if a wrestler has gotton ovet on his own he changed it or you would be stuck in mid card matches.Look at some of the wrestlers that come outta NXT like Keith Lee he was really poplar with the fans hes called up and they immediately change his ring gear and intro music its ridiculously. If it aint broke dont fix it.
@@rogerhorton3007 Yeah exactly, they are about to do the same to Karrion Kross or at least add even more changes to his gimmick. Not calling Scarlett up from the get go made no sense. Kross said more has to happen before she makes an appearance, by the time that happens it probably won't even matter.
Exactly, vince can't trust a superstar that gets over on their own, because Vince just pushes his own creations. If Booker T would be his own creation, he would've won the WWE title alot of times. But, Booker T was WCWs Creation, so he won't push him, thats why Vince buried every single WCW Star that joined WWF after vince bought WCW.
And what’s crazy is some of his biggest creations aren’t even his, he just conveniently had the platform is all Stone Cold, all Austin and some ECW assistance, he created Ringmaster which Steve hated The Rock, Rocky Maivia which was Prototype Cena which the FANS hated and eventually required a heel turn and while faction initially to save Hogan, largely made himself with some assistance from AWA’s completely refusal to push him making fans want him on top all the more Cena, largely by chance of Stephanie hearing him rap saved him from being fired
@@arashitendou5941 Mankind was another since he wasn't keen on the Cactus Jack character for some bizarre reason and wanted to call Mick Foley Mason The Multilator which was to be some kind of medieval gimmick hence that brown costume and mask, but then Foley suggested the name Mankind instead so that he would be able to be able to talk about mankind in promos and have it carry a double meaning which Vince thankfully agreed with
Gail was ahead of her time in WWE. I wish she was just starting out in wrestling these days. WWE needs to create a show around women’s wrestling they can use Raw and Smackdown to set up things for the show. There’s a ton of talented women’s promotions here in Japan, in Mexico, on China, etc and WWE has a ton of women with talent that only get used once every few weeks. A show around women’s wrestling could give more women a chance to gain fans.
@@jdbruiser there is a reason why pro wrestlers CM Punk, Jon Moxley decided never to rejoin WWE again. Because wwe controls the narrative, look at Ceasaro, Vince didn't give him the push because he didn't him of Ceasaro as main event material. I could go on and on but i think I've proved my point

In Vince McMahon's world, he's never wrong. He does not like to work with people who doesn't want to do business with him. He doesn't like people who step up to him, and disagreed with his ideas.
Never understood why Christian wasn't pushed. He wasn't any smaller than Edge. The Swiss Superman is a great wrestlers but he isn't pushed either. WWE could have gotten Shelton (another great wrestler)a mouth piece like they did Brock and Bobby and given him a push. At least he would have been around weekly.
Not pushed he got more pushed than anyone just as mush as edge, dont be so pathetic this rumur is untrue. Just because prichard said it does not make it true.
I don't buy that for a second. And while HHH pre-NXT had a huge reputation of fucking around with other peoples' professional lives, looking back, he wasn't entirely wrong about CM Punk....
Cesaro's case was the obvious one, he is one of the strongest man in WWE even Mark Henry recognized him yet Vince still doesn't want to push him. The only biggest push he ever received was being Paul Heyman guy.

What kind of logic can you expect from a man that you can't even sneeze around without him losing his damn mind he's made as many stars as he missed out on so I guess he evens out in the end
Tbh cesaro could easily get out of wwe, go to either aew or new Japan or even go back to ROH for awhile, and it’s guaranteed he would actually be used right and made to look like a million bucks cause that’s what he is, a million bucks. But when you have someone that doesn’t know how to use talent right, they’ll go with easy fixes and talents that apparently “are larger than life”😐. I wanna see him gtfo of there and go somewhere he can wrestle new faces, and actually be used right. Like I said, he doesn’t even have to go to aew directly. He can switch his name back to Claudio castagnoli, put that cash tights on, and wrestle absolutely amazing matches in Japan and become a beast out there.
@@KnucklesWTD surely, he can. in multiple languages. see his promo when he got drafted. or his reaction after Vince's statement on SCSA podcast. WWE made Cesaro look like he can't do a single promo, they portrayed him as a "foreigner heel, who dislike America and will, of course, get booed bcuz he's that static, boring".
@@plushkaplushov115 i can’t remember a single promo this dude has cut,he is one of the boring people In the company and ratings would fall even further
Randy Savage left the WWE because Vince wouldn't give him a pay raise. It had nothing to do with his Role in the company. Randy wanted a higher cut on merchandise sales and a higher cut on house show payoffs. Nobody wanted Randy to do broadcasting.
Maybe Vince only thinks good looking babyfaces can draw money. I read somewhere he refused to turn some top workers because he thought babyfaces are more bankable to sponsors and did NOT wanna lose that income. And he sees his workers not as wrestlers but brand ambassadors of his sport entertainment business. That perception probably makes he value superstar looks more than technical ability. So maybe that's the reason he hated Christian. Just another guy he couldn't market because they did NOT have that look . He always saw Christian as at best an upper mid card heel for the top babyface to beat at a big event. Which is how he treated Christian. Anyway, im glad now these workers have an alternative in the AEW/NJPW/IMPACT partnership.
Could've sworn Scott said he didn't have a problem with Vince in an interview with whatculture. He did have a serious problem with Triple H and Stephanie that's for sure.
If a superstar makes money without a push from Vince or has the audience behind them despite the person being placed in a joke role then he doesn't like them He pushed Roman down our throats so much even when The Rock came out he still got booed that should get the message to Vince that he screwed up
Vince doesn't care what the audience (fans) think. The same audience he wishes to create is the same one he alienates. He's serious f*cked in the head.
All of this stuff shows that Vince is a petty as clown and is the major reason why wrestling has fallen off the way that it has... Burying Gail Kim, Dusty Rhodes, Ruschev and Christian as just some straight BS.
He let Gail go in 2004 because of "budget cuts" as well, and then underused her when she returned. It says a lot how her last match saw her eliminate herself from a battle royale.
Number one should have been Jesse "The Body" Ventura. Jesse had been a WWE mainstay both as a wrestler and a commentator for years until the time he tried to unionize the wrestlers to get them a healthcare plan and disability insurance amongst other things, Hulk Hogan ratted him out to Vince, and he was quickly fired as a warning to other performers not to try that ever again!
vince hates everyone and everybody for almost no good reason at all. Just because he hates them doesnt mean he has to be so disrespectful as he always is. He can easily ignore the person and move on with his day. some of the reasons were so stupid to why he hates some of these superstars to be honest
This imaginery brass ring shtick Vince has been feeding to talent for so long is just sad.. Truth is, You're only a star in his company if he says so.. No amount of sweat, hard work, determination or dedication will get you in favor if he doesn't like you.. Thats really it. It all comes down to if he likes you or not.. But I'm glad we're getting to the point where his word is no longer gospel.. These days people really don't care what he has to say.. He doesn't control the narrative anymore...
That’s exactly it. If you’re given a crap gimmick or booked as a joke, it’s the company’s fault, not necessarily the wrestler himself. Kane is a top-tier gimmick where Issac Yankem, DDS was garbage. Same wrestler though.
Not even the fans liking a talent matters, as VKM will find a way to cool down heat eventually. Of course, he can get away with this garbage now because of the lack of real competition (and AEW doesn't really count, although it's certainly closer than any rival company since WCW).
I'm not taking anything away from CM Punk as a performer or wrestler, but let's be honest. If it wasn't for all the negative publicity that the WWE was receiving in regard to steroids, especially after the Benoit murder suicide, and rampant, prescription drug abuse, Vince would not have pushed CM punk when he did, or at all.
I think some of Vinces issues also have just a bit of old school racism involved too. Like the Gail Kim thing. She was and still is a stunning women. And she could actually wrestle. A women’s title match between Kim and and Lita would have been awesome to see.
Nah the r-card is dumb. We never know what happened backstage fully. Thing is, when a superstar starts claiming victimhood and trashtalking her boss you expect things to get worse.
People just put up with it because WWE has always been highly televised. Hence why they consider it to be the "top" (exposure = money). You don't actually think they like him do you 🤣
@@Qtipz123 believe it or not i know people who actually like him and i know there are wrestlers who like him too. ( probably the ones that he gave a push to 😂😂 )
Vince’s hate of Dusty… it all makes sense now why he had Cody lose at Mania and is burying him, it was truly shown throughout the whole storyline that Cody losing was a spit to Dusty’s face and legacy because Vince didn’t like him smh..
Lmao what? He is burying Cody, by not having him lose a grand total of single fkin match cleanly for a year & half since his arrival? He is burying him by having him go over twice cleanly over his beloved Brock fkin Lesner? He is burying him by having him beat Seth, one of the company's top stars he built over the last 10 yr& over whom Cody was put 3 times in a row? You are completely delusional if you think giving someone a Royal Rumble win within a year of his return & giving them the main event of WrestleMania against the biggest star in the business now, which even he didn't lose clean, only by interference is "burying" them. Cody has the machine behind him since the start of his arrival & still does with an obvious & predictable booking of him taking the title off Roman this year's WM.

@@EnzoPlayz2005 I am hardly against the criticism of Vince, i have myself criticized many of his booking decisions in the past. But in this particular case you actually clearly don't understand what you said & clearly wrong about Cody's booking. I have elaborately explained in the last comment how strongly they have booked Cody since his return & how they have him put over clean multiple times over the biggest stars in the company. You clearly have no actual response to that, so going on about Vince this & that.
Vince was jealous of Dusty. Vince wanted to be an Adonis like superstar, yet the fans never liked him. Yet, Dusty an overweight guy that doesn’t look like the athlete of the day could have the crowd enamored. Vince doesn’t understand that charisma is more important then physique.
Oh my, Vince McMahon. The man with a million stories about him. Some make him look like an angel and some make him look like Satan, which I might add is quite the opposite of an angel. Bruh
CM Punk is a special case study in "Little Man Syndrome". Whereas to most,he's not a little guy, but being surrounded by giants among men,he feels inadequate.
I think one of the things that started the fall out was when Rusev had long hair he cut it short without telling wwe that he was going to do that or ask for permission to.
Vince Mcmahon hates anyone he isn't able to make himself, wrestlers who got themselves over, like Bryan Danielson or Bray Wyatt he dislikes. Although this trait of his has been something we've only seen in the last 12-13 years. Historically, Mcmahon actually wanted wrestlers to get themselves over, his biggest stars were stars who made their own gimmicks work. Stars like Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Mick Foley and many others, all got themselves over. I think after everything with CM Punk, he probably decided to hold more creative control over how wrestlers get over, which is why the product was so bad.
And for good reason. Edge was / is a far better and more talented wrestler than Christian could have ever dreamed of being. Edge definitely carried that team.
@@dheepikachander7419 ..... I don't think I can agree with that. Multiple world title wins, in both WWE and TNA. God knows how many tag titles. @@nashburnette7247 You do have somewhat of a good point but christian had his first reign which lasted only 6 days. Clearly he deserved much more of a push in WWE.
Part of the falling out with Randy Savage also involved these incidents, according to my research. 1) Vince didn't bring in Randy's father, legendary wrestler Angelo Poffo (R.I.P.) to an old-time wrestler battle royal back in the mid- to late 80s. 2) Vince also didn't have Angelo or Randy's brother Lanny (aka the Genius/Leaping Lanny Poffo) inducted into the Hall of Fame. Ironically, Lanny recieved Randy's posthumous induction in 2015.
Nailz dominating Vince has to be the best one easily. Vince spent his entire life in complete control of everything around him(sometimes which he abused his power over others). When Nailz yelled at him and choked him he had 0 control and it must have killed Vince inside.
I’m surprised they always leave Jazz out of these. She sued him over likeness and her name. He didn’t want to give her a doll based on how she looked so she left the company.
Vince alway preferred juiced up, huge muscle men, that's why I'm not surprised that he hates guys like CM Punk or Christian, he also hated Bret Hart, and only liked Shawn Michaels when he was on steroids before his first retirement, did like him much when he came back clean with a different attitude
So Vince wasn't a fan of Gail Kim's appearence. Yeah, I could see that. I mean what could you do with a sexy, athlethic, trim looking young wrestler who was also super talented? Your hands are tied. Useless.
TBH, Vince hates any talent that wasn't home-grown from within the company. Maybe not genuine hate, but they will almost never be at the top and be the face of the company, because another successful post-WWE career will surely rub Vince the wrong way and he will do whatever it takes to end that spotlight for those individuals. Take Christian(Cage) and Gail Kim for example, they were made known in WWE, but went to Impact(fka TNA), got famous, contacted and convinced to resign with WWE again., than he ruined 2-3 years worth of them. That's what Vince does to make sure his Talents are at the top in the overall Pro-Wrestling communities.
I feel like LA Knight belongs to this list. Vince never liked him. They released him when he was Slate Randall in the early NXT version. When HHH brought him back as LA Knight and got over, Vince immediately turned him into a manager, and hated his work to the point of removing him. He was definitely gonna be released if the scandals didn’t force Vince into temporary retirement. And now that LA Knight was poised for a spot at Mania, Vince suddenly controls night 2 and Knight is nowhere to be found. My theory is that Vince straight up dislikes Knight’s face. Because LA is everything that Vince likes. Promo, insane body. So it has to be his face, like he disliked Christian’s face haha.
I'll say it again because wrestlelamia wont comment on the real reason scott steiner didnt get over because the younger pre PG fans didnt see it live. BPP was the biggest heel EVER in wcw he had the mic skills and looked like he could legit kill someone. When he was brought to WWE vince didnt know the BPP CHARACTER and 3h knew this. Keeping himself heel and booking the big bad booty daddy as a FACE completely cutting him off at the knees.

That's literally not remotely true, dude went from poverty to dismantling the territory business & created a national wrestling behemoth & took the business to international level that has never been done before. WWE hasn't been the same since 2008/2009, IMO, but damn, Vince really has done more bad than good for the WWE. What other business do you see this level of wasted talent??? At least TNA pushed Gail Kim, Scott Steiner, Matt Morgan, Jeff Hardy, Christian, Christopher Daniels, etc etc.
I love the way Vince throws his little tantrums over wrestlers he doesn't personally like and prevents them from entering the WWE hall of fame. What a child!
Biggest Man Child I know of. I still laugh when I think of the time Vince struts down the ramp and blew out both his quads from a tantrum over an ending of a match he didn't like 🤣👍
One thing I’ll never forgive Vince for is how he treated Chyna, Chyna basically built the women’s division, could actually hold her own against a man and became the first woman to win the intercontinental championship, but WWE still pretends she doesn’t exist all because they think women with muscles are ugly, same thing happened to Nicole Bass when she was in WWE which was why she wasn’t in it so long.
I don't think saying HHH is banging boss' daughter is the reason he's in WWE, was actually the reason for Steiner's ban. Many wrestlers have said that too. Pretty sure it was because of that one time when Steiner was asked to do drug test and he said, I will pee in a bottle right now only if HHH does it too. And if you are trying to have a guess, Steiner didn't have to do that drug test 😉😉
