Actually they got off easy the lottery numbers people pulled dictated how they died the top 3 winners had these fates: third place was made a slave, second place (boxcars you can find in the Nipton general store) got crippled and then the guy we see is first place he got to live oh and also the mayor was burned alive

@@swimmerofage2148 his dialogue is just very surface level and everyone acts like his quotes are deep also he somehow survived getting burned and throw down the grand canyon as a normal human and he's a former legionary who goes psycho mode and tweaks at the end of Honest Hearts for no reason but they try to paint him as a good person when he's clearly not. Honestly the only good thing writing wise about him is that he chose to find God after leaving the legion which is realistic to alot of Christians who only start following the faith after doing something terrible and feeling like they need to redeem themselves.

The reason why the Vegas strip (the casinos) and mr. house are so powerful is because house protected the Vegas strip from the nuclear strikes. So the Vegas strip was spared most of the nuclear damage.

fun fact, there is actually not any laws against cannibalism in the US. but all states have laws that indirectly make it impossible to legally obtain and consume human bodies, like murder, abuse or desecration of a corpse regardless of any consent given so if you get caught cooking up some human meat the charges against you would be stuff like dismemberment, disfigurement, mutilation and burning of a corpse. but nothing about you eating it

But lets say the restaurant actually just.... carved up flesh from still living humans... then it wasn't technically a corpse you mutilated :) ofc then they get you for paying/requesting someone else for inhumane torture. but I'm not actually 100% on how that would go if they gave consent to that but my guess is it would be the same but lets say... you friend lost his arm in a freak accident.... in your home... by accident....and then said "nah i'm good i didn't want it anymore anyway" and left.... i think you are good to eat it?

One of the things I really like about New Vegas when compared to Fallout 3 and 4 is that almost everyone has traits that give players a reason to dislike them, even the companions. The factions, as well, aren’t “yes, we’re the good guys” and “yes, we’re the bad guys” but instead each faction you can side with for a different ending has legitimate pros and cons to siding with them.

Fallout is actually more of a post-post apocalypse because it's been a couple hundred years since the bombs dropped. It's mostly the Bethesda games where they wanted to make it feel like everything just happened.

Since you're on your Nuxalore arc, I have a recommendation. Guilty gear lore, fun and interesting, with plenty of characters to analyze too. With their own backstories and ideologies, I feel like I know who your favourite would be (happy chaos). For the lore playlist, WoolieVersus has a great one that's maybe four hours altogether with 7 videos. It doesnt have the latest one, Strive, but there's plenty of those already and you can find the story mode itself on youtube. For more characterization the theme songs are very important, there's videos you can find of that as well.

I love Russian badger a lot, I got into his channel because of his r6 siege videos when he'd do entire videos on the operators. I will say this is probably his best video yet in my opinion and should definitely look at more of his videos in the future nux, also please do more Warhammer when you can I've been getting obsessed with it since I saw your videos of it and I can't wait to see your reactions to more of what is happening in that universe.

New Vegas is so well written because Obsidian was founded by the former employees of Black Isle, who wrote Fallout 2. Much of the content in New Vegas was directly inspired/adapted from their planned version of Fallout 3, now only known as Van Buren, before the IP rights were bought by Bethesda, who were just then entering their braindead and anti-creative golden age, when they would never be able to make a game as unique or interesting as Morrowind ever again.

As someone who's played a lot of New Vegas, and also been to real life Las Vegas, I can tell you that one is a disgusting and terrifying hellscape... and the other is a fun video game!
