Right now my interpretation of "Destruction" and "Nanook" with his Stellarons is that the core of his path is that "calamity is the impetus of change" forcing people to act instead of stagnate.

Himeko from Honkai Impact 3rd had a tragic thing happen to her which is why there are people worried about her fate when she said that she's going to accompany us to Penacony when that world is released

The funny thing is there is an Aeon how is called Aha the elation who is just a giant troll and is faction the Masked Fools is just a group of trolls and I think nux would fit perfectly in that faction. I mean his vtuber already has a mask XD.

Nux, ironically Genshin actually works somewhat similar to Star Rail in terms of ideas giving power. People obtain Visions, which is a gem that is also kind of a part of you, that grants you elemental powers based on what you're deeply held ambitions are, and only those with a strong enough ambition that aligns with the respective element's philosophy can obtain a Vision.

I think Nux would appreciate Otto Apocalypse. One of the best antagonists of all time.

Small correction in regards to Emanators: They are not slaves of their path, even when they are blessed by their Aeon. They are still free to stray from their path, have free will and can make decisions as they please. To catch an Aeons attention you have to align with their path extremely closely and perform acts that they approve, which means to get even close to becoming a candidate for receiving a blessing you have to be so committed to your path that you wouldn't willingly stray.

if you're interested in honkai lore you should watch the hsr and hi3 animated shorts, they're beautifully animated and convey a lot about the characters even if you haven't played the game (hi3 shorts do contain spoilers tho)

This video is what got me to try out HSR a few months ago. I am now hooked. Thanks Nux, hopefully you can visit HSR in full, epsecially since we have Trashtaste playing through it. I honestly remember when this channel used to just be the extra gaming channel to your main account (though in term of gaming, it was mostly just Amongus). honkai impact 3rd lore is BY FAR the best hoyo work (and im not saying others are bad) but its very long and complex

There is more story and lore in the most recent world, so I duggest nux to react to Ashikai's other HSR videos as well. We're also getting the next world in the next update so there'll be more story and lore very soon Best or worst thing is that Himeko joins us this time and if hoyoverse is planning another "final lesson" Yeah... the community would be in sadness Maybe Nux should react to HI3 lore as well.

The way she introduced the relationship between the 2 games is enough for most Honkai impact player to understand that she hadn't played the Game. Though there are some errors in the relationship between the sea of quanta and the imaginary plus what the Honkai and Honkai energy is, it is still a very solid intro for people that don't plan on playing Honkai impact at all. The one thing I would go out of my way to explain is that the two games take place in the same Universe, the reason a lot of people think that the universes are different is because of a mistranslation from the source material(Chinese) and English. Like how the realms inside the sea of quanta are referred to as "bubbles Universes" in English but are actually "Bubble world" in both Chinese and Japanese. Hope that helps anyone here.

Ashikai is a lore god. She managed to predict fontaines entire archon quest before it released. Her research is thorough and her theories are insanely accurate

The Lore of the Honkai verse or rather Hoyoverse lore base on Honkai Impact 3rd manga , the game before starrail and Starrail now is legit (also won’t forget in star rail might imply Genshin is intertwined as well)

The devs are genuinely one of the most generous devs for a gacha game I've ever seen too like for example they are going to give a free five star character called dr ratio just because they won best mobile game of the year. If you liked this lore summary, you should know, that it barely scratched the surface. The game is not even 2.0 yet, and there's so much history already, it's insane. Try looking up Simulated Universe lore breakdown. It's a device a few scientists we're getting acquainted with in the game created to find out what happened in the real universe that's been lost to history. Or, look up for Aeons lore, it's also crazy. It's the kind of a game you get into for waifus and stay for the story. And hasubandos. Edit: Oh, and in case you really get to this game lore reviews rabbit hole, I suggest you add Reverse:1999 to your list. It's a young indie game that became popular on arrival at global server. Very cool storylines, some of the best and most unique character designs I've seen in gaming, lesbian drama, you know, all the nice stuff.

Oh dude its Implied that Welt is the same exact Welt from Honkai Impact 3rd just now Playable and people seem to think that Luocha may be Otto instead of this universes version of him. And I think the only reference to Genshin is the cheap starter glider in one of Hertas curio storage rooms. There's also a rating pistol. And lastly, the description for the Aeon for I think Elation, ends interestingly familiar by Ast Rickly

I wouldn't say the setting is superior... but it's going to be easier to write for. For the most part, the lore of Genshin Impact is an enormous jigsaw puzzle covering thousands of years of history where you find random pieces but expect at some point everything will fit together perfectly. (Almost. There are in fact pieces you can neither perceive nor interact with - but there's a valid explanation for that and in fact realizing why it's true fits a lot of other pieces together.) The narrative style of Star Rail is more subjective: while there's a good reason why it's quite reasonable to assume some of what you see is all in your head. It's huge in scale but with fuzzy boundaries - there are things that will never make sense, and there are things which are almost certainly entirely fictitious in-setting... and you are participating in the packaging of dramatically altered versions of your own recent past as popular entertainment. And there are no issues with inserting references to science fiction: while you will find real-world influences in Genshin Impact they both require and get explanation. To be fair, "easier to write and develop for" is a major factor in why Honkai Star Rail was created in the first place. The open-world and real-time physics used in Genshin Impact's engine combined with the need to keep it running on all its platforms means it's usually uncertain what portion of the creator's vision will be realized in the game in time for release. For example, it's clear in retrospect that the developers were trying to create NPC allies in battle for Inazuma, couldn't do it in time, abridged portions of the story as a result, and found lower-profile uses of the feature in Sumeru. Contrariwise, I predicted from the start they'd try for underwater swimming for Fontaine, but I was genuinely surprised they actually had those mechanics out and working for the nation's initial addition to the world. (And by completely replacing the combat system for underwater, they made it so all the playable characters could participate.) Likewise, it's a pain to try out even UI-focused changes to the game. Star Rail is partially a workshop and testing lab - but it's a very good one due to having a good story to tell while being that.

After 7 years of following an actual protagonist in Honkai Impact (Captainverse not included because fuck the Captainverse, even though its concept is exactly the same as Star Rail's and predates it), you, the player, will technically play a self-insert character on Mars.

for Star Rail, this only covers the very basics. The actual main story of the game has gone much further since then, we're nearly at 2.0, have done about 3-4 major arcs, and about to get a whole new big story arc. Ashikai has made a few more vids like this, but her content is also theories and doesn't necessarily aim to summarize lore. if you want an even deeper rabbit hole along the same wavelength, Honkai Impact 3rd is your next stop. be warned though, the hole goes DEEP. and so do the tears.

well actually.....honkai impact 3rd is connected to honkai star rail. we dont know for sure if the characters we see are actually those from impact 3rd....at least not yet. most people are leaning on no but who knows.....with acheron, there are some leaks in which a character talks about her and refers to her as a (possible) eminator of finality....people who play impact 3rd will understand what that means. oh also....silver wolf is quite literally the same character from the impact 3rd version. You can even see her reference it in her story in the character menus
