I just saw your 83 day video. I’m happy to see you have stuck with it and you are going to continue. It’s tough especially if you don’t start seeing the changes other have experienced. I think some of us had horrible eating habits in the past so it takes longer to see the benefits. Keep at it brother, I wish you luck.
Don’t let the carnivore nazis bother you. You have to do what’s sustainable for you. As long as you’re staying carnivore and making healthier choices everyday, you will succeed. The next 100 days, you will see a ton of positive changes to your health especially as you reduce or eliminate the dairy. You got this Jay!
I'm so excited you are going to keep going and try to tweak some things to see what can happen! Also, it was really cool to hear you mention me and my channel. Thank you!!
Throw the scales away and make your changes one at a time. Each success will encourage you to try the next one. If you try doing too many changes at one time I fear it could backfire. Good for you for not giving up.
Yes great plan removing Dairy! Removing that did it for me as i stalled too when starting, Now @ 190lbs - was 290lbs at 6'2. 1.5 yrs on the plan ...Beef, Chicken and eggs..Also had headaches like you a few months in ...added Electrolytes (Trace Mineral drops) and Celtic sea salt a pinch in each glass of water. Had cheat weeks haa ...but weight went up a bit so always back on it, Like you did not realize I was just zombie eating in front of TV. Good luck.
Additionally I found that eating any carbs my weight loss would stop for up to three days, even if was one cheat item and I stayed on the plan after that. Any other carbs in that 3 day period after the cheat restarts the clock..that was my biggest aaah haa moment.
it takes 3-4 days before you really start getting into ketosis. Same experience for me every time. You can speed it up with fasting and a lot of exercise to maybe 2-3. If I'm keto adapted already Ive found that one cheat meal followed by exercise and fasting can put me back into ketosis the next day sometimes.@@TheGrayBeardGuy
No matter what the scale says or doesn't, I am proud of you bro. You have taken solid ownership over this whole thing, and that will get you to the ultimate goal. Came to wonder if you are familiar with Raymond Nayzons feasting-fasting protocol? There is an interview with him on Steak and Butter Gals channel. Basically it makes continual 48hour fasts feel easy, by first feasting huge amounts of fatty meat while carnivore adapted. Dont know if it will be your cup of tea, but if you truly want aggressive fat loss, I know of no more efficient way.
Avocado mayo isn't terrible. We use primal kitchens version sometimes. In the beginning use your condiments, but try to start wheening yourself off. Mustard is a zero calorie zero sugar option thatvi still use from time to time. A1 though has pretty tough ingredients. Try making a butter sauce or something to swap in.
You don't walk a mile in one step. It takes many steps to get there. Some steps are easier than others. Some are easier. Some you trip. Some you fall. But keep taking those steps and one day you will arive. Don't focus on the steps you took. Focus on the ones you are about to take.
I lost 70 lbs in 15 weeks in my Recliner lol I recently stuck at the same weight for a couple of weeks and Started losing weight again after adding MORE FAT at least a 2 or 3 times more grams of Fat than Protein I keep my Calories at about 2,000 Calories a day I'm 6'2"" and at 264 lbs at the moment
Sprints. If your back, joints or brain won't allow you to sprint do it on a stationary bike. One or two full out 20 second bike sprints before your regular workout will supercharge the workout. Go hard move your arms mimicking a sprint.
I found that cheese was a big reason for the weight loss stall. Great job so far and don’t get discouraged… I think you will really start seeing more weight come off by pulling cheese off the menu… and BtW I like Wendy’s patties too!! It’s still better than most SAD food.
Yeah I'm sore from the gym . I do a full body workout and my legs are so sore and legs are not my style either but I got to do it and I'm starting 5 days a week .
I too struggle with dairy and cheese being on the road a lot so I’d like to grab the baby bells and then of course creamer in my coffee heavy cream so I hear you I’ve been stalled for a while now. Ago I did the Dukan and I lost weight, but there was a certain amount of dairy I could have per day and it was nonfat, which is totally the opposite of what they teach on carnivore. I’m starting to think I may have to go carnivore there’s been a couple people that have cycled maybe that’s what I will do anyways keep it up on your journey I was wondering does your wife do the same as you are you guys doing the exact same thing I know some people their spouses doing keto instead of carnivore and stuff like that.
She's been mostly carnivore-ish for a little over 1 month and lost about 7 lbs. She's mostly focused on cutting out processed foods and cutting back on carbs.
First video of yours I have seen and I enjoyed it!! Subscribed so I can follow your experience without cheese and dairy! I love cheese, too!! Right now I have been off cheese for a few weeks, and can't really tell a difference. Going to get some next grocery run and see if it effects me. Your headache made me wonder if you use any electrolytes. I use LMNT, and lots of RU-vidrs have links for that! And drink plenty of water to stay hydrated! Also I love the Redmond's Real Salt. That is the only suggestions I can think of for you right now!! God bless you on this journey!! 🤗🤗🙏🙏
Thanks for stopping by! Right now we're just using liquid iv (I know they aren't the best lol) but the price point is just better for us at the moment.
i would cut the cheese in half, then supplement the meal with more bacon instead. this adds more fat which raises satiety which makes you less likely to get hungry and over indulge. don't be afraid of eating a ton of fatty bacon. it's going to work out better than eating a ton of cheese.
I dropped 30 pounds in 2 years after eating carnivore. Congratulations on your journey. I've eaten carnivore for almost 6 years. I normally weight 160, but I stopped dairy the end of December and dropped down to 155. Watch RU-vid videos by Dr Ken Berry about carnivore.
Go for it!. I'd honestly suggest pushing it to 90 days. 30 days is awesome but after 90 some things just started to click for me as far as cravings and emotional eating.
Yea bro sometimes we have to experiment with our own body, and egnore some of the Carnivore police out there.rrenember eveyones body is different so keep up the good Work Sir.
Not exactly carnivore but just thought you might enjoy a series of New Zealand videos by a young Kiwi country boy. KEEPING IT WILD. Bush, hunting, fishing, cooking. Check it out ( if you have time)..cheers
I forgot I wanted to tell you also, I don’t know much about it at all. I just know that I was gaining weight with butter but I don’t with the ghee So I have switched I don’t know if this will make a difference for you and your family or not
I wouldn’t lose one second of sleep from drinking zevia. Go on with your bad self with that. Now the cheese and dairy that’s another story if you’re trying to lose weight. Calories in calories out is the name of the game.
