Thats a beautiful boat ! Lots of downer comments for some reason? HEY PEOPLE IF YOU AINT GOT NOTHING NICE TO SAY SAY NOTHING AT ALL ! Nobody needs it .
Testing different setups. Always room for improvement. But more blades give it more thrust and getting boat on plane quicker. Old race boat. So going to be a little different setup.
And with a 427 cobra block in a 73 miller boat ive 97 ..annnd i dont sed the big deal besides spending copias amounts and it sounds just agood for 1/3 of what that cost 😊
I'd be curious to see what it would do with less pitch prop and maybe get a little more RPM out of the engines, Take em up to about 5500 you might have a little more power there. Ever had the engines dyno'd?
Thanks for the comment! I’d be curious also. Was told he was testing props that day. As far as engines dyno’d im sure they have been but I do not know what the true HP is on them.
I always thought Donzi's looked goofy beacuse the cockpit is too far forward. Anone know why he extra space between the engines and the rear bench/seat?
what would happen if you hit a log or something you cant see? front of the boat is so long you dont have a good visual of whats exactly in front of you.
I never asked that question when we ran the boat. It was an older race boat but has been converted back to a regular setup. That’s a good question though. Thanks for the comment!
Engines are staggered in some brands of hulls in order to facilitate a narrower beam. This hull is wide enough not to do so. The theory was, is that if you have a narrower footprint on the waters surface, you will have less drag. It has been proven that that is not necessarily true...
