He has a few recipes that make 6 meals but you can split them into 5 for a bulking-type meal. I take his hidden veggie mac and cheese and split it into 5 meals which breaks down to about 700 calories and 73g of protein.
@@TheMealPrepManual Please more, I have 1 great pasta bulking meal and I did your pasta meal too but I need some variation, I can’t keep eating the same things every week. This chilli will be great for abit but definitely keep ‘em coming, all about that variety.
I feel you bro i lost 30 Pound in 2 months all the pound i gained this years ive lost it all its ruff on the mind and to keep working out because off dépression
Chili has always been a go-to bulking recipe for me! It's naturally high in calories, super nutrient dense, and easy to make in huge batches. You can just throw together a huge pot with like 15-20 minutes of total prep and have lunch for a week. It also helps that chili is really nice on a cold winter day, which just so happens to align with bulking season for many athletes.
Bro this is seriously the best meal prep youtube channel. No BS side stories, exact measurements, great technique and macros provided. And measurements converted to metric! 🇦🇺 Going to sub to your website cheers bro
I'm on my third week of meal prepping and the coolest thing Josh has shown me is that you can hide your veggies in anything. He didn't say anything about putting a zucchini or spinach or carrots in this chili but I DID IT ANYWAY and it's delicious. Thanks Man for the concise and informative videos!
Thanks for this, brother. Wife and I are on a tight budget now with 2 kids while moving into a new home. We both have full time jobs. Just did this recipe and I’m ready to start this meal prep journey, man. You’ve got my full attention
I just wanna say thank you so much for these recipes!!! I’ve been wanting to meal prep for a while now and every time I research meal prep, the recipes are either complicated, expensive, or the recipe only makes a couple meals. My friend and I are planning on using these recipes and tomorrow we’re getting the ingredients:) thank you for making such simply put recipes with a whole weeks worth of servings!! You’re making my life so much easier right now!!
I made this with 90/10 beef and it still came out amazing. I also didn’t include the rice or corn bread muffin so cut soem calories Ended up coming in at 740 calories per and is my favorite meal prep to date, highly recommend it
I'm so glad I found your videos. I think following your recipes will be the thing that finally keeps my husband on track with his food goals. We've been struggling to find something that works for both of us. Cooking spereately for him and the family is a challenge but these all seem like something we can all enjoy. Thank you! I plan on becoming a gold member in the new year!
Just a tip - replace that white rice with wild rice/long grain blend for more nutrients and a better flavour profile as well, the white rice has had most of the good stuff leeched out through processing....
This is the best meal prep channel. it shows well balanced meals with carbs , protein and vegetables and it shows a variety of ways to meal prep . Other meal prep and bodybuilding channels are just all the same showing how to make broccoli, chicken and rice with some teriyaki sauce , or pasta with tomato sauce and hamburger like that stuff is boring and that is not a diet I'm going to realistically stick to . This channel brings new life to your meals.
I think this is what I'll make next week. Also, I have to say thanks for the videos and recipes, you got me to give meal prepping another go and aside from a couple weeks when I was traveling it's stuck for 6 months now!
I love this channel, he has been helping thousands of people such as my self to reach there fitness goals, if it wasn’t for this channel I would have still been a hopeless fat fuck, thank you for your amazing content!!!
I have made this a few times. I recommend storing the muffins in the freezer and thaw them in the microwave, because I got mold on them after four days.
This is a perfectly fine meal for cutting as well for some I would think. Subtract the cornbread obviously and then take out the rice or beans or maybe even both. Plan on trying this one with my wife this weekend. Will probably make a batch after that for myself with some habaneros instead of poblanos as I love spice.
Someone probably asked this already, but I missed an answer, @Josh Cortis: Why do you hold your utensils in the strangest of ways? lol I just had to know. It's a unique thing I've never really seen before. Awesome video, btw. Keep it up, man.
If you're looking for a chili recipe in the future that works very well with a larger amount of carbs, Cincinnati chili is a great option. It's basically a slightly thicker chili poured onto rice/spaghetti (any other pasta works). It has a bit of a strange flavor because you use chocolate as part of the seasoning, but you might wanna check it out.
ay bro this is a life savior cause my cut is 3000 cals you know hoe many meals a day I had to eat before i saw this video, thank you and keep up the amazing cooking
Hey dude, I make look forwad to seeing your new videos, im loving the 1000cal meals, im a cyclist and when im getting in a lot of K's these keep me full and happy !
To tweak the recipe for the cornbread I would like to opt for erythritol sweetener or monk fruit sweetener. To avoid sugar spikes or limit sugar intake...I'm not against sugar but if anyone would want to limit sugar intake those options would be the way to go.
I’m meal prepping this now for my boyfriend IT’s tasting pretty good. I added more more of potatoes/onions/ peppers/ and garlic though. Along with more of the seasoning portions you use. And using 80/20 ground beef (it’s all they had.) Im cooking the rice separately though since that’s what’s we’re used too. This is fairly simple and easy to make. (Cutting corners a bit though with using jiffy corn bread 🥹. Sorry but it’s late at night. Issa ready to relax) He wants to put if weight This seems like a sure fire way to do so
Just went to Publix and got all the ingredients for 65. (Including spices and basic ingredients) I might have enough to make 7-8 meals. Per meal is looking around 8-14. Less if you already have the basics.
dawg you really gotta either peel your russets or use a different strain of potato whose skin tastes good when boiled. russet skins only taste good when baked or fried, they turn into wet cardboard flavored dirt when under wet heat
Great recipe! Would you happen to have InstantPot (pressure cooker) instructions? I don't own a separate large cooking pot and would like to set it and forget it for the cooking phase.
I really don't get why so many youtubers bother with the containers - not only it adds unnecessary garbage but it's also an extra step in the process - why not just store it in the pot in the fridge and scoop out the portions as needed?
@@TheMealPrepManual. Why so? If you want to hold the spoon securely, the handle of the spoon should match the anatomy of the inner space of your clenched fist. Or, if you want to train your hand lifting and lowering the load while eating, you should take a heavier spoon.
