congrats on 1k and no doubt if you keep doing what youre doing there's a place for the stuff you make. i know i'm not the only one who appreciates calm chill discussion of various relevant topics vs the normal gamer hype overreaction everything is the best ever or the worst ever complaint-fest. also tekken is awesome. best of luck with the potential migration to streaming. it would indeed be cool but for sure there's something of a barrier to entry. last thing - and idk if this is just me or others too. but people who found you for your LOA stuff may or may not be interested in the variety gaming angle. LOA is designed in such a way that I dont really have time to play too many other things (although i took time out for AC6 because of course i did). so i dont know if your core audience is people like me who play one thing mostly or if its more people who check out a lot of things, but i know for me personally as long as you stay in touch enough with LOA to be able to speak from a position of personal experience on relevant stuff, its all good to me.
Thanks, yeah. I know in general it's usually hard for people to break out of a particular game and type of content when you get deep in. Though it seems like I do get a decent amount of FGC interested people as I get a good amount of people who know/enjoy the bgms I use. I still def would be Lost Ark focused. But in terms of streaming it might just be like, half and half on non raid days (As I generally do larger sets with the homies earlier in the week). Get the LOA homework done, get some matches in on Tekken, or some other game etc. Because unless I start getting whale tier money, this is a no skipping chaos at the very minimum house. Roster 6 never skip.

The "you have to suffer because I suffered" shit is super old. I'll be honest, this is something that definitely irks me about any community as well. Like bruh... LOS 30 shouldn't take more than 2-3 months to get for a new player. (just one example). Bro the shark comment on the mouse had me dying hahahaha. Well done on 1K! It's time to pop off in 2024!!
Aww yeah, let's parasocialize. I've mentioned before, but I too played plenty of Vindictus before LAO came out. But once LAO came out... that kind of ended my time on Vindi, which was an off-again-on-again thing from 2011 until 2022. I've tried playing again, but I also was getting motion sickness or just headaches from playing, so I chose to stop trying. PSO and PSO2 I also play(ed) a lot as well, until NGS came out and ruined PSO2 for me--still occasionally would play PSO:BB if my friends continued. On the FGC side, I don't--or haven't played many fighting games since I kind of got into them very late in my life (early 20s) and frankly kind of suck at them. But I did really enjoy MVC, so I always notice all the MVC music. I think the only fighter I got moderately good at was DBFZ, since I put the time in, had someone to play with regularly, and it's not too hard to pick up. Still got owned over half the time since my friend was just better, but I guess that's also why I don't have much issue with learning raids in LAO--the whole wiping and retrying isn't seen as a bad thing to me UNLESS people are getting frustrated...then I'd be fine(not really) with quitting. But uh yeah--your content is always helpful and I believe you discuss matters quite maturely without trying to disregard those with opposing opinions. Not everything is simple--it's not all highs and lows, sometimes there's mids and cross-ups and throws. I feel like I share a similar mindset about things, and wishing what's best for LAO's long term life--focusing on the new players--is what I also want. The game is fun, and I want others to not be afraid to get into it. Don't want those to be punished by the game either though.
