Benched a 1600 glaive for soul eater along with 1589 ss and 1585 sf. Still do sona/chaos, but not many raids. Have SE trying to get 1600 now. Just want to enjoy playing the classes I play. Also got breaker 1620 last week which felt good new main.
Most people don't make alts completely from scratch though. The cost of honing an express event character is significantly cheaper and newer players should be encourage to be patient and build their rosters over time utilizing these events to conserve materials and gold. The best plan of action would be to make alt rosters and ride busses for extra free gold that you can just send over to your main roster. If you wanna be even sweatier, do life-skill gathering on these alt rosters for even more gold gains.
Yeah, the part about parking and the earlier item levels is more so for newer players rather than old players who have been around to have event after event to build up a roster. As new players jump into the game and feel like they need the roster asap etc. I've been too lazy to do anything with alt rosters. I just have my JS character that I sometimes do things on and basically just use that character to fund my aura tbh.
S.O.R. Super Mix Let's gooooooooooo! Man it was so hard to focus while dealing with SOR2 nostalgia with little 6~8 year old me playing... stage 8 always felt so hype with the bgm. My experience with parking right now is that 1580 feels a lot better than 1540, especially since my static doesn't really like running Brel. In fact, I think everyone here hates Brel and we haven't done one since we started Akkan learning, which turned into the static. I can't even get to the point where I'm mad at the legendary elixirs and transcendence. This 1620 push hurts so much, and I'm not even done with all my 17-18s meaning I still have +19 on my armor to do. And my static isn't all ready for Thaemine so I'm getting to save some gold on that for now.
Yeah, I wanted to put in a Turtles in Time track in for the video but none of that bgm is consistent in volume enough for bgm under yapping lol. But yeah, 1580 seems to be a good place. Seems like a good amount of people have the same feel.
@@Jukwol It just sucks that 1580 without express help is pretty expensive. It was worth it to me to push my 1560 alt to 1580 without help, but not monetarily.
1600 is a great parking spot. The event books make honing easy to hit +15 on all Akkan set pieces. I got 4 parked at 1600-1610 and my weekly gold gain in pretty decent on those alts.
@@Jukwol im really confused why 1600 is not on your list when its pretty free to get 1600 with honing books and voldis nm is no problem on 1600 cause alot of people sit there anyway. ez akkan normal,akkan hm if u have people that are fine with it and hm kaya same with tree partyfinder
@Jukwol having no issues with Thaemine G1-2 groups with my 1610's. You don't need to do Akkan HM you can smurf NM for easy groups if youre 1600. Voldis is also no problem. Got a 35 set for one of my 1610's already.
How is it "shit game design". I've NEVER seen a game where having a stronger/more desirable character didn't make it easier to be accepted into groups and parties. It's not specific to Lost Ark
@wHiTeSoLSF all of that is shit game design. Why is your ability to play the game locked behind being a desired character to add to group. If u have the ilvl required by the raid u should be able to raid period. Not ohh he's 1620 but this guy is 1620 with lvl 10 gems and los 30. This guy has this level trancendance or what ever. Then you spend 30 mins gatekeeping to have this perfect party and u go in and wipe 15 mins and disband. SHIT GAME DESIGN.
@@pascualbad The game allows you to join the raids at ilevel no gems, 0x3 engravings no elixirs, no transandence. It's other players and their imaginary "minimums" that gatekeep. EVERY MMO I've ever played is like this. The bare minimum isn't going to get you into much group content because other PLAYERS block you out. Not the game. Not shit game design. Shit players, with shit mentalities. By just making shit up and blaming the game, you're letting shitty players with their shitty mentalities and shitty behaviours off the hook. "Oh you can't blame the players for wanting to gatekeep," oh fk yeah you can. Do I NEED LOS30 for Akkan? No. Do I NEED 40 set for Voldis? No. "Oh people just want to get the best players they can" Yeah, just like every. single. other. group content game.
It's not a game anymore, plain and simple. Every single thing designed is intended to cause you to subscribe to Gold Rivers ghost aka Green River. It was not about deleting gold from the economy, it was about swiping. End of discussion.
The cost of bringing an alt up to say, 1600 or 1610 is honestly not to bad assuming you did so using an event. Everything after that however is absolutely miserable. Up until around Akkan HM things were honestly pretty chill, you could keep a roster of a couple characters at current content on what the game affords you, no swiping, no G2G. It wasn't always easy, but it was manageable. Now tho, it's not possible. The cost to maintain that alt and make it something a pug group would invite is extreme, because gold is roster wide and each system takes a massive chunk out of you each week. We're talking hundreds of thousands of gold into Gems, Elixirs, Quality, Transendence, Stones, Accessories and all that before even considering pushing beyond 1600 to current content at 1630. NA/EU has finally reached the point that KR has warned us about all along. You can't play this game for fun, you can't make new characters for fun, every decision you make is a more long term investment than buying an actual IRL house.
@@HouseofGausss We've been around since launch, just because we comment about these things doesn't mean we aren't fully aware. Half the fun of LA is complaiing about what a terrible game it is. Also it wasn't really like this from the start, as I said above for much of the first year and a half you could maintain a sizable roster at current content, it's just been since 1600+ that things have gone to pot.
i'm parking at 1600 higher chaos more mats to funnel cost to hone 10ilvls isn't that high the only reason i didn't earlier was because akkan pieces would take forever but the with the last events and double mats it was about time most of my alts only used bound mats and the new powerpassed character i made only use boxes that i've gathered throughout time as extra mari also helped a ton with much cheaper orehas i will not be going above 1600 without free taps in the forseeable future i have barely done any elixirs on these characters as well i can't fund their gems rebuilding their accessories also feels like a pain that ill soon have to incur because they feel too weak and acquiring thaemine as a weekly and transcendence as an additional cost? like that character will never recoup the gold if i went that far i have 1 main and 1 sub main my main is going 1640 for behemoth my sub main might be able to but i won't hold my breath for it and my alts are not going 1600+ unless there is something significant that allows me to do it for no significant cost (like honing my paladin for thaemine might be an angle soon but not a priority)
The irony of the 'lost' year of earning gold from raids is that was the year that KR complained about no content after Brel. We're looking at not having the time to get enough gold and for all we know they're looking at us and realizing just how much crap they avoided by having that extra time.
Yeah, they were always angry they're not getting content fast enough and here we're being forcefed. And the thing is, I think the content pace overall is good in a sense that its exciting for players to often have newer content. This is why KR is shifting to smaller raids, less gates, and faster releases. They've realized a good pace is good. It's just rough here for the more average Western player because the missing grind time with subpar assistance/nerfs.
All the systems are in place for whales to enjoy. Everyone else just exist to provide an ecosystem of generating gold, honing mats and trinkets for when whales need to main swap again for the next fotm class that will be very op and need to regrind all those systems.
The question is : if you still don't have a static/friendgroup/guild to play with on most of your raids and have to pug most content, why and how the fuck do you still play the game, simply have 2-3 buddies to play with helps SO much with lobby making
In my opinion, if your main is at thaemine level, there's no reason to push any alts past 1620 and add transcendence on top of legendary elixirs. That's just asking to get gold deleted. I'd put 2 or 3 chars at 1615 just to get into thaemine groups easier and focusing on honing main to HM thaemine.
Just a auto match maker will solve 90% gatekeeping problems dont let bounch of no lifer dicide who can or can not enjoy the game ! For example just imagin in dota2 people choose themself to play with who !! It become crazy
