As a European it was always hard for me to understand American culture. Not really. PSG is way better team than R7. Loosing vs them was expectable. Not that badly though, but still not as bad their loose vs R7. Still for NA it looks very bad that our team (MDK) was arguably the best team in play in, when NA third seed was around second to worst (R7 being third to worst). Its also funny how people always remind about MAD choking at worlds when this team has a different roster and Eloya who is the only constant was always performing quite qell even qith previous roster. Its not the same team if roster is different! Even if its same organisation!

Yeah, i feel that he and Tomo really stepped up in game 2 its a waste seeing sniper wich is decent being stuck in that team, hes young and hes pretty decent, he just needs to actually stop egoing and id say that he might rlly be a good player in NA/EUW standards, but man Quid Eyla and River really sucked so fucking much, Quid should stick to streaming and Eyla should grind otherwise id say their gameplay might remain bronze, River had some insane 1v5 games last series but this one he just felt lost and already seething about the travel times
I'm glad 100T didn't pick Riven. In the PCS, there's a team called FAK, and one of their players, 1Jiang, is a Riven one-trick who has already picked Riven in the tournament. If Sniper had picked Riven, Azhi would have absolutely crushed this prodigy's confidence. That said, even if this did happen, it wouldn't be a huge deal since Sniper is likely retiring after this series anyway.

tbf i must say that sniper this time didnt suck as much as he usually does, he really tried, but man Eyla and Quid are genuinely inting so hard these games, like i see their gameplay at silver/gold at best but at world stage? they should just stick to streaming, or they genuinely start trying and grinding, i could see Eyla becoming decent/good but Quid is irredeamable but who knows

I'm from NA but I had 100T as my first to get knocked out team. Honestly I expect nothing from FLY or TL but it would be a pleasant surprise if TL can take some games off basically anybody.

Tomo didnt play that bad the game 2 he really tried and overall didnt play bad, id even say he did good, the issue was Quid and Eyla wich absolutely run it down without any remorse or regret
To people not knowing much about PCS, Maple, in his whole pro career, have a 33.3% win rate of Orianna, and had been joked by PCS fan that "Maple don't know how to play it", so it is actually really suprise that PSG 1st pick Ori and work really well.

You can't compare the regions because they are not playing each other. Everytime NA goes to worlds they get shit on for a fucking decade. EU had some bad things happen in the last 2 years and not the best splits. But saying NA > EU is beyond me. Especially when you compare the money they get for playing in NA and the imports they buy and they are still bad. G2 for example is a complete EU team. Show me a single full NA team. It's imports and hubris. And bwipo has the guts to say EU is the paycheck region while he went there only to get paychecks, not ever to compete with asian teams, which EU did regularly the last 10 years.

16:23 is the worst draft I have ever seen. Pause and read if you like. NA's problem has always been their analysts and planning. Even if they do well the first 3 games in comp, they tend to all drop the back 3 games as during the break the other teams analysts figure their game out and NA learn nothing then get completely countered. Who let PSG get such strong comfort picks in this game. Look at those career numbers compared. Not only that, you add the second worst possible thing, pick 4 melee into a strong disengage team with real ranged damage. Forming for any important 5v5 fight you are on a timer, taking chip damage you can't return, and under pressure to engage or you lose by default. The coordination required and timing window to do so is so small, and the enemy has to mess up their positioning AND disengage on top of that. I feel sorry for the players, they never had a chance.

Ngl, a third seed of any major region should be the fav against a first seed minor region. I do say that psg out of all the minor region teams is the best one for sure and has the skill for upsets. Its just that NA's lvl of skill is not major region worthy so the expectations that come with being a major region is to much for NA.

Do you wanna know why NA can’t and will never be making world champions teams? They can import a full LCK/LPL roaster to dominate the LCS , but yet this team won’t make it past Swiss/quarter if they are lucky in draws , because NA is a region which doesn’t offer you this experience to improve against good opponent , unlike LCK or LPL , the roaster can dominate LCS mostly due to the poor capability of NA teams , and none of them offer competitiveness for teams to actually improve , for the past few years they have been speed running with some EU teams in who is gonna make it back home the fastest (not the kind of records worth bragging about)
