Paul Jaray designed the first aerodynamic car, the Tatra T-77, Hitler was a big fan and got Porsche to “look over his shoulder” (creating the Type 64). Unfortunately because Jaray was a Czech jew, nazi germany have done everything they can to erase him from history. Tatra sued Porsche and won. Jaray didn’t receive a penny.

Peugeot sued Porsche because during WW2, Porsche and many high members of the company were really close to Hitler (like best friends) and Porsche forced Peugeot industry to make missiles for Germany, deported almost all high members of Peugeot and even executed one as a warning. So, many years later, Peugeot simply got their little revenge… (Peugeot didn’t sue BMW or Ferrari even tho they were using names with the "0" in the middle). Fun fact, Peugeot did everything they could to not make missiles, they even destroyed parts of their industry by themselves to not make one, and they amazingly never made one single missile for Germany!

The Porsche racing V10 was actually 5.5L and then increased to the 5.7L for the Carrera GT.

on 13, the 917 (nine one seven, not nine seventeen) didn't have a v12, it had a flat 12 made from 2 flat 6s, because porsche had experience making the flat 6, but not any 12 cylinder, as the f6 is whats been used in the 911 since its birth

When it comes to the question of what vehicle in Porsche‘s lineup saved Porsche from bankruptcy, a more accurate statement would be the Boxster I would argue saved Porsche because it kept the lights on and the money flowing from it’s successful sales from 1996 to 2003 for them to make their next big project, which was the Porsche Cayenne SUV which made it debut in 2003 as the base model with the 3.6 L V6 with a six speed tip, Tronic automatic transmission or an optional six speed manual which no one really got so it’s a rare option Porsche released two new versions of the cayenne, the Cayenne, S and the Cayenne turbo S the turbo S was the one with the 4.8 L V8

Number 102: Seat, the spanish brand used in the 80´s tech from Porsche in some of their models. That models have a logo: System Porsche, like the Ibiza SXI System Porsche . That was a design of Giugiaro and it is one of the coolest clasic Seats. That design was supose to be the second generation of the VW Golf MK1 but was the IBIZA Mk1. 😃

Not only do Porsches handle very well, and are very reliable, but they are very combat effective too!

PCCB used to only be availible with yellow calipers, but as of the newest generation you can have PCCBs with yellow or black calipers. also with the porsche custom program they will paint the calipers any color you want, if you are willing to pay porsche will do just about anything to your car through their special request program.

Fun fact, The 901 maming issue isn't simply pegeot being a Karen. The pegeot familly refused to the nazis and the vichy France the use of their factory and tooling, going as far as asking the RAF to bomb it (some members of the familly where jailed for this "treason". So ferdinant Porshe, a nazi, naming his sport car the same as one of their best selling model was kind of a problem to them. Adding to that, they used the 0 as a way to recognise the brand trought the models names, as 0 was put around the lever before the apparition of starters. They normally would let it slide with other brands, but here used it to fuck Porshe in court.

22:08 Nope, there's another one. In order to fit a big ass diffuser to the 2019 911 RSR race car they used the chassis from a 718 Cayman which is mid-engined. That diffuser wouldn't fit on a rear-engine.

The police 911 you are showing in the video are from the belgium rijkswacht, like the belgium national police, some if those targas made more than 320000km before they got retired for volvos for example . The "dutch" Netherlands (correct) also used 911 targas.

Peugeot never threatened to suit. Porsche changed the name of the 901 of their own will to avoid future issues with the French manufacturer. They own the rights but never made a model with that name to this day.

At 6:34 Fact Number #29, the so-called left hand mounted ignition switch was completely debunked by Porsche. This was a long running belief that the left-handed ignition switch was developed for quicker Lemans starts but was actually just the result of simpler design criteria. Jay leno also brought this out a number of years ago. (Not trying to nitpick here, this is still a great video - thanks for posting!)

Nuccio Bertone didn't design all those cars you mentioned, they were designed by Marcello Gandini working for Bertone design studio
