We get quite a few on a lot of the Honda ones. This one will pile up some views I'm sure. We're not trying to be RU-vid famous though, we just want to bring you guys good stuff that'll help you shop for parts on our site!
All the viewers are Honda owners so it’s more limited but good quality and content for the civic community! Corvette guys don’t go looking for civic exhaust videos haha
Love the fact that y'all took the time to compare all these exhausts in one video so viewers can judge the sounds/volumes based on the same recording equipment. DEFINITELY gonna be on your website once I get around to modding my SI Sedan
@@Yaboycrab ya you’re right. Im actually looking for an exhaust that isnt too loud. Let me know what did you end up buying. I like the HKS but need more research
Man! The Ark is fantastic. Not sure I can justify doing another aftermarket exhaust:( Great job on this presentation. Wish it was around a couple of years ago.
I thoroughly enjoy my borla type s exhaust! Although, thats for the hatch 1.5t.. sounds really good, can't wait to put the rv6 ceramic coated downpipe on next week and see how it sounds
invidia, ARK, HKS, and GReddy DDR are my top 4. But I'd most likely get the invidia just for that cold start. I was wanting something a little more subtle but with a deep sound. That fits nicely I'd say
I’ve been watching your videos before I bought my si and I wasn’t to sure cause it’s 2017 and heard a lot of negative things, but it’s a great car, it’s my first si and I’m hooked and your videos helped me install things I’d never know how to do
Thanks for all of your hard work in doing this video. Much appreciated. I'm 45 years old and I'm looking for a quiet exhaust that is pleasing to the ear. However, if I was 25, I would have went with the Borla. That was a "balls to the wall" all out "no nonsense" exhaust sound. But being that I am not 25, I would have to go with HKS.
idk who didn't like this video but it's a little disrespectful to me knowing how much work between recording and putting in the wrench work for all of us to get some details and sound clips. Great job fellas keep em coming.
This has got me so hyped to mod my 2017 si. I was always feeling kinda sad about its stock sound but after seeing this, I know what I’m doing when my car warranty is up XD
The fact you are running schaeffers oil. I am extremely impressed. Best oil in the planet in my opinion. Ive ran Schaeffer for the last 12 years. Love it
You guys are bad ass! Thanks for supporting the tenth gen!! Wish this video came out before I got my magnaflow exhaust!!! With that said, I still love my exhaust. It’s a good exhaust.
Saw this in 2024-4 years after I got my Magnaflow for my FK7. Deep smooth note on cold start and killer growl on WOT. I Don’t regret my purchase, but I find it odd MF uses T409 instead of T304, but still charges premium prices. The 19373’s black tips are the icing on the cake; 4+ years and no fading of the coating or major rusting on the pipes. Bought it on sale during Covid for $900 shipped. Best bang for my buck!
Thanks! We do plan on doing more videos but probably not an intake one like this. There's not much difference to show on camera with intakes like there is with exhaust, because of the sound.
Thank you so much, as a highschool student I don't have a lot of money at hand so this is the best for the Cost-Sound decision and it helps a bunch! And your other videos about the 1.5T civic also help a bunch too
The only thing else I wanted to know is how loud they are on the freeway. I use my car as a daily driver. I kind of like the stock exhaust it's not loud at highway cruising speeds. I was leaning more toward the Greddy dd-r
Damn, surprised you’re not as popular, but it’s okay because you’re reaching the people who actually enjoy your content. Love the work, please keep it up👍🏽
Im on Borlas exhaust and I like it. I think it was a bit too expensive for an exhaust in hindsight. It has gotten quieter after 1k miles but still has a nice sound when you punch it. Not much louder then stock imo. But the burbles are definitely worth it! Looking forward to more of your content!
Really?!? This video makes it seem like it was much louder then stock. I honestly just want a bit more noise then stock with a deeper tone. I'm stumped on what to get because I don't want to buy something that is crazy loud.
I was waiting for this vid. Great review on the exhausts. I’m currently running the Ark and I absolutely love it. I had the Greddy SP (big muffler 😄) before and loved the tone of that one. Unfortunately ended up getting a hole in the muffler (livin the low life). The Invidia sounded really good as well. I already have an Invidia downpipe and front pipe. May need to complete the set with a new exhaust 😂
Riley Mariol I actually have the Eibach Pro Kit. I had the exhaust for about 3 months before the hole developed. You should be fine though. I didn’t get the the hole from scraping on random driveways. I actually have a steep driveway at my house. I scraped it every time I went up. I live across the street from a high school so I can’t park on the street during the day 😔
One of the best video you did. This gets a perspective on the sound of various exhaust systems out there for the 10th gen Civic si. Was hoping you tested the AWE.
I seriously thinking about the last one you try the greddy one even if hks was pretty good too... i want to feel the noise but not say to everyone hello i past here and that sound inside of the cars it pretty much what i want. I want to feel that a sound came out of my engine but only for myself so the sound it deep and smooth it seems perfect. i am just so glad to find your video it help me a lot on my choice.
For those thinking an2.5” can’t flow enough, let me just say my ‘16 Nismo 370Z has a 2.5” exhaust on a single turbo setup making 650whp…. I could have more power with 3” but don’t worry… this 1.5t isn’t making any thing close to 650whp without serious $$$
I watch this video all the time, just so we know. Such a great presentation and time put into this project. I do have the Injen technology catback but I am really thinking of switching to the Greddy. I feel that during the Covid time delay and yet they sent me a not so measured pipe for my 2020 Si. I don't feel justified by the price tag they charged me. Also it melted my factory diffuser under my bumper, due to the crooked angle the pipe had with the rubber mounts. Sent email to, Martin the rep that helped with the sale. No response yet. Did not really end with me feeling the quality aspect of having a performance exhaust on my ride, you know? Thanks again.
HKS it is, for a nice toned down sound. It's the perfect compliment for a daily driver early in the morning without getting the neighbors' dogs into a frenzy.
Just bought a 2020 Si and your videos have been really helpful so far in looking over what options I have for the car. I'm waiting for delivery of the car and already making lists for it. I really liked the ARK and that Greddy DDR at the end. Fantastic sound from both.
Thank you. The Greddy sounded really good. The Borla was fun when revved. Did sound like a race xar. Not a bad thing. Traded my SI for a Type R, debating on an exhaust.
Wish I had found this before I got my invidia track exhaust (quad tips). I would've certainly had a good trip through a few of these before reaching the one I have which I LOVE ❤️. You're awesome for this video!
I was able to pick up the invidia exhaust for 400$ used such a steal and with my catless downpipe and front pipe I picked up for 200$ used it sounds rlly good deep tone a little louder without the cat but still not too loud
Edge Autosport yeah for sure that would be a cool video. Their systems are interchangeable so it would be cool if y’all did the touring edition vs the track edition.
Inv Ark Gred I like that deep muffle sound just deep and and smooth not to loud and in my opinion the INV had that! Second one the ark love it all the way around but not as Smoth as the INV but still awesome and last but not least GRE I like nice sound but not as quiet as my first to choices.. Overall awesome took me back with the sounds.👍🏾👌🏾🔥🔥
Yo this video is sick!!! thank you for dropping the info! I just bought 10th gen and been looking at new exhaust already. Hope yall been doing well thx!!!!
Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it. Enjoy your 10th gen! They're great cars and a great platform to modify. Hit us up for any questions or parts you need!
HKS because it's refined. But I'd probably keep it stock because my commute too long, droning at cruise speeds gets real old real quick. I'd get a bolt-on intake to hear the turbo spooling and bypass induction sounds.
Huge thanks! So helpful. I had the greddy Supreme on my FG Si and I loved it. Im torn on the look because the bumper has such a huge cutout and I just think some of the exhausts look too small. I like that the Supreme fills that space but maybe a little too much. I really liked the invidia for filling in the space and it sounded good. The tips on the ARK are by far the best looking. The second greddy was nice too. Sound wise I think I liked HKS the best. I'm afraid I'm not any closer to choosing!
