Thank you Mr. Norcross for your service all these years. I Grew up in Florida and have followed you ever since you first broadcast in SF all those years ago. I have found you always reassuring to us all, even when thigs seem very bad.
27:00 one of the things that I noticed the NHC do that seems pretty smart is that its main graphic for hurricanes is now a probability map for tropical force winds, rather than the cone. That would seem to fix a lot of the issues discussed, because it incorporates both the size of the storm and the uncertainty.
It's fascinating how these storms behave. I really didn't realize just how slow they move . I live in Earthquake and Volcano country, so I'm not as familiar with these tropical storms... Would scare the living daylights out of me 😩😳 Prayers for safety of all affected 🦋
Ian going to Charleston? Will it be like Hurricane Hugo? That was awful, too! Thank you for your Florida coverage. Your indepth explanations helped us, even though it’s not our first big storm.
Is that a stupid libtard reference to Trump? How about Broward County? Heard they had tornadoes and flooding.. douches flowing down roads in massive quantities.
