Joe Burreaux makes college football the best in sports, with his toughness and his talent. The horse collar out of bounds was B.S. Don't mess with Joe! Thanks, Ohio for giving us this Lousiana legend.
Joe Burrow is LSU's Cam Newton. Their having a magical season like Auburn had in 2010 but Joe Burrow won't be back next year and they'll be crying in their Gumbo again.
1:39:28 that catch by chase was one of the best catches of the year, amazing catch. Dude was all over chase and pass interference! Still caught it for a TD ! What a amazing and talented WR ! Rookie of da year !
so Burrow takes a seat. his boys continue to dominate and what does he do? no helmet, he's running down the field, congratulating and high-jump-bumping his mates. Such a sweet spirit and good soul. I hope this pandemic nonsense doesn't derail his pro career. but, then, i guess it doesn't matter what happens, with his attitude,he'll land on his feet!
You don't know aggy if you think they'll hold onto it for just 10 years. We're talking about a school who claimed two championships 80 years after the games were played, claimed 2 conference titles that they didn't win, and made Jimbo their own national championship trophy from his ring in '13.
@@geauxtigers2911 Btw coming from a Texas fan, good luck with your Tigers in the playoffs. I typically root against the SEC, but you just can't root against Burrow, Coach O, and this LSU team.
Myles is going to shock people next year. He will not be as good as Joe but he will be the best Myles we have seen yet n we should be back in the hunt for champ. Will not be as easy but if defense is as good as we all know it can then the offense will not have to be as good but just enuf to score more points! God bless
A&M deserved to get the score ran up on them after the first play of the game when Burrow was horse collared. And I don't want to hear any A&M fans complaining about the officiating after the officials handed them that bullshit game at College Station last year.
Since that first possession horse collar penalty tackle began out of bounds it should have also risen to the level of 'attempt to injure' and therefore also should have been an ejection penalty. That tackler had enough time he could have and should have not even touched Burrow!
24:34 did anyone else see that play damn what safety just made that tackle and get surprised when they say Maurice Hampton like I first started paying attention to him specifically cause he plays for the baseball team I didn’t figure he hit like dat
@Tim E Dangerously Officiating may have got A&M into OT, but LSU had multiple chances to win after that. Also, if you're argument is that the game was meaningless... The loss may not have hurt their playoff/bowl chances, but they spent 5 hours on the field against a team that nobody thought they would lose against. You can be salty about the officiating all you want, but when the highlight reels run through historic moments in CFB history they're going to show that game, the score 74-72, and A&M's victory.
@Tim E Dangerously The only game I said was meaningless was the 50-7 game. LSU had a legendary season, yeah. But you'll be sub-par at best this year after looking your star QB and WR, along with all the seniors and drafted.
Mickael Rumpff so LSU wins a regular season game, eh nbd. Tamu wins a regular season game and freaks out because theyve been getting stomped by LSU since they joined the SEC.
I JUST noticed that right after the horsecollar on the first play, Thaddeus Moss runs over and very intentionally hits the defender on the sidelines LOL. This team was perfect
The interception is questionable ... QB knee on the ground, depends on whether the play was dead when he touched it or whether when he possessed it.. Knee off the ground... But the first down 1 1/2 yards short is non contestable... It was never reviewed... They ran to the ball and no attention was really paid to or aware of the 1st down placement. Then there is the added second.... Things happen, I guess this was repay.
This game is a great example of the refs stepping in with the flags to make sure that the score doesn't get too out of hand. LSU goes up 28-0 early in the second quarter, and all of a sudden, the yellow handkerchiefs start coming out and the game slows down. Should have put up 70+ points.
I thought they said Thad Moss did not miss a pass all year, caught everything?maybe they did not count a couple of these that Moss did not catch and was thrown to him or the one he missed vs Clemson. But Moss is that good so I can see why they just brushed off a few non catches thrown in his hands and did not catch it. No tight end can just not just catch everything thrown to him. Impossible.
Madubeke's horse collar tackle was NOT a "very good play". Very good plays don't draw penalties. That one came very close in my opinion, to qualifying for being kicked out of the game. I understand announcers (not common taters) don't want to pass judgements that could affect a player's draft/contract future and don't mind sounding stupid as a result. What that sounded like was "this guy made a great play, but it's something we're trying to take out of the game".....!!!!! Really?
'Nother question that needs to be asked because I'm not in on how announcers are selected/trained and I'm trying to understand why not one of them is bothered by being seen as an offensive motormouth. Why do they talk practically nonstop to the point of telling us in detail what we're watching somebody do. My question is this. Are we doubling down on the output of announcers verbiage? As in, using the nonstop comment for both TV and radio? Really cheap and inappropriate if so. Radio guys worry that if there're more than a few seconds of 'dead air', i.e. silence then their listeners may retune in search of noise. Is that it? Or can it be that professional talkers are hired because they're former players. Heres a thought. Why not hire them for talents at announcing rather than talents at something they no longer do? Eh?
@@williamdawson5560 Correct. The only time you'll see them wear the Home Purple or Gold Jerseys is during out of conference games which the NCAA rules take affect (both teams have to agree on the color being worn). But when it's a all SEC game then the SEC rules take affect and the SEC allows the home team to make the choice.
Does LSU have a chance to jump Ohio st? No. Absolutely not. The playoff was demanded by and structured by the Big 10. It’s inherently biased. For years every time the big 10 PAC 10 couldn’t get into the playoffs the systems got changed.
