Built a cheap dirt screener out of 2x4 scraps & chicken wire (2" x 3") to screen two piles of slash mulch that I had piled up. There was much more of this slash mulch, but it had been brought to the landfill over the past few weeks before I decided to screen it.

A true video. I like that you are not afraid to show the good and the bad.

Glad to see i'm not the only one that finds the loader stick super sensitive LOL. So hard to get that thing to be smooth. Great video.

Great Video! Thanks for posting. I was looking for a good design for one of theses.. Quest..would you have gone with a smaller size screen if you had to do it over? I love my BX23s... I'm looking for a good place to get implements other that the Kubota dealership... $$$

I would have certainly aligned/attached the chicken wire tighter/better and perhaps either made the screen shorter or a bit lower to the ground for easier bucket dumping.

Could the bx23s handle a garage pad prep including excavating small hill to level and all the drainage required?

It largely depends on the land you have to work with. For example, I am in New Hampshire and my property is almost all rocks or ledge. So for me to prep a foundation/dig a certain depth into hills, I hit solid rock, or rocks so big I can't move them. If you don't have that type of soil, you can totally do what you are proposing.
