The sound of this record is fantastic. !!! Pocketful Of Rainbows is my favorite track from this great album.

The first Elvis movie I watched and the first soundtrack album I purchased, so it always holds a special place in my heart with pocket full of rainbows the standout track for me

This album and soundtrack are so good because you can tell that Elvis and the group worked really hard to make them sound as good as they could. I love listening to the session tapes of these songs. Thanks for another cool video Ed!

It’s my favorite soundtrack album from the sixties. Wooden Heart was probably his biggest hit in the Netherlands (my country), it went to #1 in ‘61 and to #2 in ‘77.

Sorry to disappoint you Ed, but my least favourites songs are **Wooden Heart**.and ***big boots***. besides these two, I love all the songs from the movie...Elvis voice, well we all know, is the most beautiful voice in the world...****THE KING****

Hey ed! Love gi blues. Great album. I like the original version of blue suede shoes better, used to hate the gi blues version when I was a kid, but I have grown to like it. Always enjoy your videos ed, always like connecting with fellow Elvis fans. Looking forward to the next installment of the kings Court.

An earlier alternate take of 'Shoppin Around' from a later CD sounds as if it was cut in '58. It's faster, and Elvis' vocals are more aggressive.

Yes, I am one of those weirdos who prefers the 1960 version of Blue Suede Shoe. I totally get why the 1956 version is preferred by most people. I find the 1960 version has a laid back coolness in wayfarers and blue suede loafers that conjures up visions of jazz night clubs, rather than Hayrides.

I also prefer blue suede shoes on this.

Brilliant albums like Elvis Is Back sold 200-300,000 but mediocre crap like GI Blues sold 700,000 back in the day.

The Best Elvis soundtrack in my opinion (not that's anyone is interested)

Pocketful of rainbows is my all time favourite from the album but for myself I've never really liked the version of blue suede shoes on this album, I don't think you can beat the 1956 recording and I do like the 1970s that's the way it is version live.

Hi Ed i personly think some of those movies he did were rubbish as he said himself same script different tittle ..Elvis was more rock and roll before the army and after Tom Parker gave him a load of bad songs but just before he passed he went too stax and did some great tracks ..Plus he should have done A Star Is Born with Streisand but Parker was too greedy.

I prefer original blue suede shoes I don't like the version on gi blues soundtrack
