After our hands-on Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay session we had the chance to see the Mystic Spearhand and Magik Archer Vocation in action. Here's a sampling of our Dragon's Dogma 2 PS5 gameplay from the preview event.
You can change vocation and that changes your stats (the opposite of the first game were leveling gave you those classes stats for every characterlevel you were in said class), no more carefully leveling in order to get the stats you wanted. This also makes it easier to just switch your playstyle up completely@@frozenstar8050 .
lol at all the people crying about FPS. The game looks fine. Go cry into a PC tower to cool your gpu running it at 60fps. Then you can still play it without dying… the drama
capping it at 30 fps is only going to make things worse. you will get 30 fps or lower. uncapped will allow you to have smooth gameplay from time to time. anyways after seeing this video ill be picking this up on my pc with my rtx 4080 in it.
Starting to think all you can do in this game is climb griffins and cyclopses. Like seriously, isn't there something else to show? 11 minutes of climbing enemies. Give us 11 minutes of variety. Tired of seeing every video being about stabbing a griffin or giant ogre to death.
wow you're not very smart. They showed us most of the same thing so they avoid spoiling the game. 11 minutes of variety is kind of a lot to show for an upcoming game.
They're keeping the other monsters out of sight for a reason, no doubt. Like we know there's a Medusa boss but so far no gameplay of it's been shown. We haven't seen Hydras, Evil Eyes, Eliminators, or any monsters from DDO for that matter.
It's not like Capcom has repeated many times that this is not the final version of the full game. If you're going make judgements wait till reviews come in.

mfs complain abt fps on a graphical demanding game and then not get a pc 😂 buy a pc and stop expecting 500-700 consoles to run the same for these type of games
More demanding games with better lighting, shades and textures run better on console. According to steamcharts 90% of existing PC's(linked to Steam of course) don't have the specs of the Xbox Series X. I get your point, but this game isn't well optimized... at least it seems this way.
This game looks kinda boring tbh. It looks like Monster Hunter, but.. with enemies that barely do anything interesting. The enemies didn't seem to really do much except run around a little bit and grab sometimes. Game looks pretty, that's about it.
why would you EVER think a game with this level of graphics was gonna run 60 - 120? Maybe a performance mode for 60 but thats gonna require massive sacrifices to the graphics. People with no clue got their hopes up for no reason.
Of what I've seen so far , it's nothing spectacular visually so it seems bizarre to see poor performance, the environment artists must of done all their work in a day it's so bland looking 😂
So Magick Archer has no melee at all? I'm curious what hybrids the Thief has, using magic attacks with the daggers was the most enjoyable part of the MA class in the first game for me.
Seems they took away melee attack from ranged classes. Striders were pretty powerful in DD1. And yes, a MA with Immolation and some nice daggers was very fun.

That's the player's fault here, honestly. You can tell this person has no idea what they're doing. If you watch the vocation videos you can get some idea of how dynamic combat can be when you actually use all your skills when you're supposed to.
Games used to be unoptimized for pc, this game came to show us they can be diferent, they can be so much more than others... They can be unoptimized on consoles as well 😂😂

@@smachdos1593 Don't be so sure of that. They only let testers try out the ps5 version DESPITE it running at an awful 20-30fps during action. I'm willing to bet the console build rev they showcased is much far ehead of the PC version, and that you bootlicking fools will eat your hats the very first day when it turns out to be another cyberpunk🤣

@@tommyswain3762Yeah, uncapped and Digital Foundry said it runs between 24-31 fps on average. That is abysmal performance and would greatly benefit from a 30 fps lock/target. Xbox has VRR which will help, but they are screwing PS5 players.
