Thank you so much. I love your approach. I appreciate the time you spend on these videos so much. I can tell your intent is to really help people with knowledge and a plan to get better. I have struggled with a c5c6 herniation for 14 months. I'm an RN, so thankfully, I understand, but also have done tremendous research and read a ton about it all, so I make good choices. Your videos have been one of the ways I've done that. I've worked very closely with a fantastic Neuro Surgeon. The pain has been tremendous. I have a high pain tolerance (gave birth to twins naturally) and have been a life-long exerciser and taken good care of myself. I am proud that I never went down the narcotic path (didn't help anyway, Gabapentin has helped with the horrible nerve pain down my arm and into my wrist and hand). I've continued to walk 4-5 miles daily (so helpful for my mental strength and to stay positive and so good for me), and so many other things to help along the way to get through this. I had posterior surgery back in June but a repeat MRI showed I still have compression of the nerve. I have ACDF scheduled in a few weeks. I'm ready to get this behind me. I've done many things you mentioned in this video, sadly, thinking they would help. I just want to encourage anyone going through it, to EDUCATE yourself and be pro active with your health and mind and body while you move forward. Staying active the best you can, working on good sleep (hard to do with horrible nerve pain, but there are ways to do it) and eating well, and in my case, I'm a Christian so prayer and reading and staying hopeful. Thanks so much for your videos and great help.

GREAT INFORMATION - thank you for your dedication to helping people in pain through your RU-vid series! Your explanations in this video is spot on from my situation. I have a great doctor, a great neurologist and great PT - but over a year of evals, imaging, and PT treatment to resolve pain and weakness - without any diagnosis! So I'm here online finding help - watched your other videos on related areas - I struck gold ! 🙂

Hi Dr. David, Thank you for this video! I will be forwarding it to my friend in Australia who's husband has almost all of his neck disc's compressed from being a brick layer for many years & he has to wait to see his Dr. I've shared some of your other videos with them to help him get some relief from his constant pain.. I told them to try a sift Thomas Collar to help take the weight of his head off of his cervical spine so he can at least relax a bit and prayerfully get some relief from the pain he has lived with for too long. Is there anything else that he should or could be doing? God bless you & please keep the videos coming! I've been suffering with sciatica trouble & I'm feeling a strange sensation from just above my waist down to my toes. I've been doing the butt exercises & I've done so many that my glutes are sore 🙃, but I will continue to do them, my husband is doing them too. Are there any other exercises that I should be doing along with the glutes? I've had one set of shots (you mention in this video) in my back & those shots are really painful to sit still for & I had some relief, but it didn't last & the Dr. never mentioned doing any exercises after getting the shots. Once again, Thank You for sharing your information with us. You are greatly appreciated more than words could express!

I've had falls and car accidents which affected my neck. Every time i try to excercise using weights, i have neck trouble. Ive done several of these excercises, so after watching this, i don't want to hurt it again. Which excercises would you suggest so that i can use weights?
is it possible have cervical radiopothy without having a herniated disk or bone spur. when my pain is at it’s worst it shoots down all the way to my t4 vertebrae and down my arms. recently after starting these exercises the pain has started to slowly creep upwards towards my traps and deep into my neck.
I never hear you talk about the dizziness and lightheadedness that occurs with this neck business! Why is it mentioned? Is it just old people who are plagued by it along with the neck pain? thanks
Dr in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YTOBLUVmj2A.htmlsi=BJPjGkDqu8scQeIF you recommend the chin tuck so If I understood correct the chin tuck is fine, the problem comes if we try to force it? Is also ok doing chin tuck with a military neck and stiff neck due to arthritis?
