I found that out when they tried to do open heart surgery on me after the doctor gave me thyroid medication that gave me a racing heart. You have to have the money to pay for all of this as insurance doesn’t cover anything that’s proactive. I got the scan and the women doctor was trying to push drugs on me as she knew I was a naturalist. I’m sure dr amen would be upset with her I hope. I’m a very healthy individual so she was extremely out of line and I cancelled my 2nd apt with her after I saw my healthy brain scans. Sorry but drugs are poison in my opinion for healthy people. I have a history of being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) grade 3 (very bad, not a good prognosis). I’m not complaining one bit. Reporting this to in support that I validate what you’re saying. Had six months of IV chemotherapy, surgery, double mastectomy, lymph node dissection and removal, immediate reconstruction, then radiation therapy. Seven months post radiotherapy, I knew something WASN’T right. I felt sick and poisoned. NO energy. It was a major challenge to just get up out of bed to use the bathroom. I found more tumors in August 2014......and they were growing. After getting physically examined by my primary oncologist and my beloved, incredible, beautiful breast surgeon, was told that “the tumors” I had found, were not tumors but scarring/swelling from the major surgery I’d undergone within less than a year. “This will dissipate in time.” Side Bar: I lamented to hundreds of Nursing Students to whom I had the pleasure of mentoring: ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENT. I thank God He gave me the fortitude to continue my pursuit of continually seeking what was wrong with my body. I ended up throwing a fit during my December 2015 oncology appointment. Not my MO.
