Just been playing some No Return. I'm super rusty, but when it goes well you feel like a badass! A mode that purely celebrates this game's amazing combat was a great idea.
There's another scene in the WLF camp that features a lot of the Critical Role cast! Right after Abby goes on patrol with Manny and Mel, Matthew Mercer is a soldier giving out orders and you can hear Taliesin Jaffe, Marisha Ray, and Sam Riegel joking around. Fun little easter egg for the Critters
Im working on all of the challenges for Ellie in the no return mode before moving onto the next character. So far the only one i need is to get all the weapons in a single run. It shouldnt be too hard to prioritize missions that give you the most coins, but whether or not all weapons show up is the luck of rng.
@@shixter No, dice rolls didn't help. Once you've done a certain number of runs, Dead drops unlocks. At the beginning of a round, hold r1 to locate the mail box. Put in the items it asks for, and then when you get back to your base it'll either give you a crafting recipe or one of Ellie's guns. On the run that I got all weapons, I got 2 of them from the dead drops and then the rest showed up without having to use the dice rolls. And another tip, when you're choosing your path, you can see the rewards given to you on the board. Make sure to prioritize the path that gives you the right currency to buy all the weapons that you need too. That should help you being able to get all of her guns.
cool @@fall-neckthetallneck2977 thanks for the tips - Dead drops just unlocked for me at the end of my last run yesterday - look forward to trying that out
@@nood1le Don’t worry, there’s 5 different difficulties from very easy, easy, normal, hard and grounded. There’s even a custom difficulty option as well so you can fine tune your experience. You’ve got this!
I have a big fear of heights too and if I was in her situation, I would be absolutely anxious and scared too… if only Ellie were there to see Abby’s freak out 😂
Playing with vrr fidelity with uncapped fps at 40+ looks an improvement on a lg g2 oled better lighting definitely and less pop in with a few nice extra texture detail makes a good improvement! Plus £10!
I feel like they could include those unfinished levels, it's not like they're year's away from being finished, I feel like a fee months and it would be ready for sure
Absolutely agree with you. They could have just finished off the levels and integrated it into the game and call it a 'directors cut' or whatever. Would have given significant additional appeal to people who would have all ready finished the game before.
I finished it last week. It was absolutely incredible to experience it again. I am never really one to replay games, however I am glad how refreshing it felt the second time with a four year gap between playthroughs.
Hi guys! Just want to remind you that the quality of the comments goes with the quality of your videos and your overall attitude. Gaming is awesome! Only angry trolls make it look dull and worthless. Just got the upgrade and will go on playing for a while, even after 470 hours, always watching the cutscenes. Yeah, I'm nuts about this game! But I guess I'm in the minority of people who love heavy psychological art like Silent Hill 2, a Scott Cooper movie or Mystic River from Clint Eastwood. Some kids don't get that it's a matter of taste and never will.
I actually didnt like the GOW dlc because i hate the rogue like genre. I thought no return was gonna be the same but its not. Once you complete a run its done and u move on to the next until you reach the boss run. Its not like u get to the 5th run then die and now have to start all over from the 1st run and lose all your progress.
The No Return mode really was what made this remaster worth getting. The visuals were already so great on PS4 that save for one Abby screenshot there wasn't much difference between PS4 & 5. Utterly addicted to that mode myself.
