Thank you for getting through chapter 4 so we could finally see how the game rectified one huge instance of TTYD's excessive backtracking. That's the big moment I've been waiting to see. I have much more faith in the remake now.

11:40:50 WTF?????? Now I’m REALLY mad! 😡 That was NEVER in the original TTYD! Do you how pissed many of us were in 2004 having to backtrack to Twilight Town then Creepy Steeple after guessing the boss’s name right?

"cricket" has become "frog" for Hooktail bc 1. It was frog in the Japanese OG (begging the question why the English OG was cricket) 2. It sounds more like a frog than a cricket

First thing I would do is stock up on fire flowers and mushrooms. Once I obtain the strange sack, I would stock up on shooting stars and ultra shrooms.

I stayed on the title screen for 20 minutes watering up and being cheerful about this game finally being in my hands to play. Congrats to everyone who made it here & may everyone enjoy this Masterpiece of a remake. 👑 I sure hope this gets nominated for GOTY at the Game Awards. Get ready for peak newcomers ✨

I noticed he never extended his HP nor FP in the early part of the game... likely to stack up on power rush badges and power bounce badges.

10:51:30 Had to look up this vod specifically so I could see wtf I was supposed to do here because that rock wasn't in the original and NOWHERE in the game or even online told me to push a rock. Nowhere else in the game at this point I don't think you had to push anything either, lol

They could have fixed the backtracking but they did nothing about ut

They added a pipe that takes you from the basement of the steeple back to Twilight Town, so they did eliminate about 1/3 of the trips you have to take. I'd have preferred the pipe show up a bit sooner, but I can understand why they did it the way they did and appreciate the effort. Definitely will make the chapter a bit less of a slog.

I just saw it yessss thank you 3 trips is much better than 5. I now just hope the warp pipe room to each area unlocks after first chapter visit so you can quickly use them to get general white then use it to go back to chapter 7 instead of walking around the sewers taking different pipes
