Things I do to balance myself. Having a tea while painting, listening to meditation music, gardening, walking, doing Qi Gong, Looking up, posting only nature images, recording books on my you tube channel! Cecilia Ann Marshall !! Keep being you!!!

Honestly, I am now on this journey into a simpler life. I grew up with always on the go and hustle & bustle. But , I have kids now and I’m married and now I choose to want it more simpler . I want my mind to be free of anything that is not good for the spirit 💙

I agree SO much with opting for the uncomplicated, and I don't hear it being mentioned often enough. I especially feel this way about household items that are sold to us -- why are all appliances and tools so complicated and come with 50 different modes, 25 buttons, and so on? I am in my 20s but I hate dealing with complicated appliances and sometimes I feel like a grandma. I love old-fashioned tools and equipment that is really simple and straightforward.

Simplicity and living rurally doesn’t make you happier or a better person either. God is the real answer but how many actually acknowledge and obey Him? The answer is largely not, and thus our world is in the rotten state it is, and one day it’s going to be destroyed by God and replaced with a better new Earth and new city of Jerusalem. (Yes, city, not just pastures and countryside, a city - a truly pure and good city)
