it’s never actually established that the loop restarts after 12 minutes. you always die beforehand until later in the game.

The cops won’t show up. Believe or not this game is called 12 minutes not 15 minutes. 15 minutes will be the thrilling conclusion to the trilogy. 13 minutes is the sequel. And 11 minutes is the prequel.

Sixty Seconds didn't end after Sixty Seconds. that's when the game began. it's reasonable to think that it's the same here, even if that assumption turns out wrong.

It starts as a 3-d thing where you're a father in his home, and you have 60 seconds to gather as many resources and family members as possible and throw them into the nuclear bunker before a nuke hits the town. once that's over, the real game begins as a 2-d story thing where you and your family need to survive in the bunker for as long as possible.

As soon as you proposed using the sleeping pills on her my thought was it would make her move to the bedroom, then you could lock the main door, turn out the lights, and close yourself up in the closet. Hopefully the intruder would turn on the lights in the bedroom when trying to wake the wife. (I have never played the game, so that was just my thoughts on it)

Matt is taking things WAY to rigidly. He's given himself his own set of contrived rules to follow before exploring other possibilities, while Kevin's throwing stuff together like it's Dead Rising 3. It's like being put into a room with 100 different items with a wall they must climb with those items. While Matt is trying 20 different ways to use a single spoon, Kevin is hucking everything at the wall to see what sticks and just climbing that. Not like it's a competition so it's all good anyhow~

Well i mean it's a valid thought. I've been under the impression that it's 12 minutes until the intruder shows up, and any time you can stall after that goes beyond those 12 minutes. We've seen nothing so far suggesting that staying alive for more then 12 minutes will still reset the loop.

I think it's a bit unfair to judge MatPat for not knowing that the game restarts after 12 minutes right now, because he hasn't seen it restart after 12 minutes. He, much like i was, seems to think that it takes 12 minutes for the intruder to show up, so stalling for three minutes seems feasible. Keep in mind that the game "Sixty seconds" was not over in sixty seconds. 99% of the game took place AFTER those initial sixty seconds of prep. So it's fair to assume 12 minutes could be the same.

Since you mentioned the baby that woke up ( 07:40 ). I lived next to my sister who got a baby back in that day. I ordered a pizza and specifically told them to ring at my door since my sister has the same name. They rang at my sisters door and the baby woke up. I felt so bad that i didn't ordered food for three years.

Who else tried to watch this series two years ago but couldn’t remember the past episodes and didn’t want to rewatch them all so stopped watching this then came back two years later to rewatch the entire series. . . Anyone? Just me, okay.
