I think that these Gifts are going to be solid for highlander decks. Basically having 3 cards in one and sometimes a second copy of a card you wanted to put anyway in your deck.

The best part about harth is the introduction of hard once per game effects very hyped to see what other cards are designed inside this space that was not in the game before

Malfurions gift is 4 mana wild growth

Oooooh, Uther's gift looks super appealing, especially when you consider how inconsistent their removal spells are (like having 2 cards combo, or a minion on the board, or your opponent having a full board), this card basically filling the void when you have one, but not the other... I would actually consider it top tier if blessing of kings was replaced with smth better.

These gifts look really good, ESPECIALLY the Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior ones. That Warrior one especially, it has a removal, card draw AND board wipe option, that just seems kind of crazy in terms of versatility. They really remind me of charms from Magic: the Gathering, three effects at a slightly higher cost than you would normally pay for the effect in exchange for the versatility. And charms tend to be really good in Magic, so I’m thinking these gifts will end up being similar.

Legends of Runeterra has the same thing calles Tellstones, they are very good cards because they are so flexible.

I'd like Harth to be good, but how cool would it be to get something like Reckfuls missed lethal hand or Pavels babbling book + yog from his worlds win? Obviously an old player take, but I'd love this kind of fun commemoration in-game

This is how you do the Discovery mechanic correctly. They should do this more often in the future instead of purely random discovery.

uther's gift seems nice for wild reno paladin, getting the extra copy of equality of an aoe damage option a lot of lists are already running equality and city tax in the etc for this exact reason, so genuinely a cool looking card!

I think Uther's Gift is very underrated. Paladin often relies on 2-card combos for board clear, and this card fills the gap nicely if your hand only has Equality but no Consecration and vice versa as well.

Three specific choices is how all Discover cards should work. I like these

Dont Underestimate Dark Transformation, I really liked this card and it saved the victory many times because you also can transform enemy Undead minions to disrupt their Gemplan which was super nice to have against the Amorphous Slime/Thaddius or the Rivendare.

DK gift is solid. Death Strike can be nice for removal/healing. Howling Blast is a great discover to freeze a target or for some removal (Especially with Primus. Play Gift > Primus > Frost > Play 0 mana Howling Blast for 6 damage to a target and 4 AoE) Dork Transformation is the weakest card, even more so with all the currently played Undeads leaving standard... But still neat if we get some decent battlecry Undeads you don't mind transforming into a 4/5 (Also, it can work as a tech option to transform enemy undeads like if Rez Priest becomes a thing with some degenerate Undead minion... Turn it into a 4/5 Rush instead) Priest one is basically just 2 mana Power Word: Shield. Don't know why they put Pain in it instead of Death with the core set change. Rogue one is basically just 2 mana Deadly Poison. Other options just don't seem worth it. Backstab isn't very good anymore and Fan is kind of bad especially with a lot of the Paladin stuff going away. Not sure this is even worth running as Cutlass is just going to get Viper'd since people already run that card to deal with Ignis. Warrior one is solid. 3 mana cycle with Shield Block which allows you to keep your actual Shield Blocks for Odyn burst. With extra Brawl and Execute being situationally useful.

Closest thing we had to charms from MTG, and it's quite cool. Choice between 3 class effect with a +1added cost for the versatility added.

Aduins gift is draw and 2 1 cost cards XD. Its actually really good with the nazmani discount deck which lacks draw. This makes turn 3 10 cost ignis weapon reasonably consistent to get out. With the option to take 0 mana mind control instead. This 1 card makes 3 cards and that is great.

This is the first card review I can remember not having as single complaint about a card. The gifts will be good when they show up in discovers. They will force players to think ahead. ETC now can hold 5 options. Harth feels like a more playable version of Whizbang. Hard mode but not impossible mode.

These cards are going to be pretty cool with wand maker being in the core set too

Does twisting nether removes Sargeras portal or Rheaztrazas egg?

I could see the Paladin one possibly being decent with the 3 mana guy that discounts your next Holy spell.

Harth Stonebrew feels great for aggro decks that empty their hand + potential winning conditions in the mid or late game.

In a way the gifts give me an ETC vibe. Just random but in warrior it is such a good second etc

I feel like they wasted an opportunity to make each card in a gift be a card referrencing each class spec in WoW

It's like limited zephrys for every class, in some cases it is going to be insane, probably all the gifts, for the tech they provide... and u can run 2 copies... worrying meta ahead, but maybe I'm wrong.

Is twisting nether actually a buff for warlock? It looks like hand lock may be a thing coming up, and twisting nether kills their own location.

Harth stonebrew is probably nuts in a hyper aggro low curve deck if theres frostbolts ice blocks it could be a huge value bomb in wild for things like shadow priest, pirate rogue and odd dh. Harth is definitely a reminder of illucia and hopefully people figure that out early this time. I will be back with more standard aggro priest soon

Does Harth replaces by the amount of cards you hold or you get a full hand?

I think what Harth Stonebrew will do is give you iconic popular winning hands from hearthstone tournaments past. like maybe we will get Pavels hand that he babbling booked for the win. etc etc

I think we better learn how to otk with the Hydra and Patron, because I'm pretty sure Toast's overkill Hydra(although a board is needed maybe not?) and Trump's Patron puzzle may be one of those classic hands...

Harth has such a funny name and I can't wait to see what streamers do with it. The gifts are very fun and I'll finally be able to learn the portrait character's names. Lol

The wording of Harth suggests the replacement hand is a full hand, not the same number of cards you have in hand when he is played. It would make no sense to get an iconic hand from Hearthstone's past, but be missing cards from it. And for those about to comment "it's Tellstones from Runeterra" it's already been said a gazillion times by people who don't read other comments before posting. Which means of course that the people who need to read this are already typing 🤣

Uthers gift is actually really really good in odd pali. It’s literally 3 mana equality with the upside of the other options, one is damage is that’s kinda bonkers also veleiras gift is probably good enough for some weapon support. Warriors is too good haha The legendary is DOPE all coin cards stocks went ⬆️

These are the Tellstones from Runeterra! Pretty cool to see them in HS. They were considered really healthy, but strong and flexible cards in LoR.

Wish mind control was still 10 mana. Force priest to only play it if they 'crank it to 11!'

Rogue gift would be good if location was still in but now this is useless, and ofcourse the control decks get even more removal for no reason

So you pay one extra mana for flexibility. Sweet deal. Clearly you have to remember exactly what each gift gives in order to use it exactly when you need since you don't get any more turns with it.
