Love this capsule wardrobe. I almost wish I was still working and not retired. I think capsule wardrobes are great and i'm going to try to put one together that reflects the life i have now. Thinking of a colour palette of navy, camel and gray.
I'd love that, Oralia. The only problem for me is that I live in Canada and many, actually most of the items you select from Walmart are not available in Canadian Walmart stores. I was also super disappointed to find that Quince does not ship to Canada. I was so excited after your Quince haul to purchase multiple cashmere items, only to be thwarted. I did email Quince and they did say they are working on plans to ship to Canada.

I have a mini checked black ivory and brown with matching pants and a chocolate pleated skirt,dress slacks, and quilted vest and a chocolate shirt dress, and multiple print long sleeve t-shirt with all the colors in it. You got me a thinking. I have enough already items too add too the 7 items i bought too stretch my wardrobe even more. And already have scarves ,shoes and necklaces and bags. So I could dress the chocolate dress up with a scarf for a wedding if I have too.
The blue stripes blouse looks really nice and pretty tucked in to dress it up or for work especially with the blazer but it looks so cute untucked! It took me a while because of emotional baggage but now I like untucked on everyone but me. ❤

Shoes? I've got 9 pairs of moccasins and 5 pairs of boots. Maybe someday a pair of loafers; then again, I'm retired and mostly wear what I'm comfortable with ... Your black skirt needs a slip. I know they're old-fashioned, but are necessary when the skirt is even partially see-through.
Oralia, may I ask what size you got for your dresses? The Free Assembly blue stripe and the navy dresses? I really like them. I live in California desert and cotton dresses are my favorite option for our hottest months. I find it hard to find half way good quality cotton dresses even on nicer sites for my shape. I’ve been looking for a cute shift dress forever. These two might work for me. ❤❤❤
I'm so lost for footwear. I don't want to only wear boots in winter but can't wear heels lower than an inch. I like wearing skirts and dresses (some pencil but mostly Aline) without it looking country & western or pumps look dowdy on my size 43 feet. Any Style recommendations appreciated. (I wish I could wear my sandals all year haa haa)
