The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

Vlade Divac! Young basketball fans should know who was the "Jokić before Jokić", a Serbian guy that was certainly the best facilitator among the big players of his time, while at the same time was very capable defensive player who averaged more than 1.5 blocks and steals per game numerous times during his career.

Hey jonny. You should make a video on Oscar Schmidt and his achievements, great legend. One of the biggest, if not the biggest what if of nba history. He was an unbelievable shooter, and great team leader, for Brazil Olympic teams through the 80s and 90s. Although never played in the nba (due to restrictions on the contract), he is the all time Scoring leader of the sport with almost 50k points, insane averages. And also was one of the biggest inspirations to Kobe (check that out). Again, might be unknown to may, but the guy was a beast, had such an amazing history and dedication. He was also inducted to the hall of fame presented by none other than Larry Bird. (watch his acceptance speech, he's very funny as well). Many disregard him due to playing in weaker regions (which is somewhat correct) but with those number you have to start reconsidering things, being even able to beat the USA Olympic team in one occasion. If you havent heard of him, check his story out, i guarantee its amazing! Cheers
@RoChede
@RoChede Год назад
If he haven't heard about Oscar (who gave the best HOF speech , btw, so funny and so beatiful, nobody has this man's HEART), something is very, very wrong. Oscar and Sabonis are the biggest "what if" in NBA history.These guys, at their primes, would turn the league upside down if they got there in the 80's. But while Sabonis were not allowed to play for several years, Oscar choose not to, since he would have to be out of his national team... As a brazilian who grow up watching him, I am so glad of his choice. And we all know what he did to USA in 1987.That was bigger than one NBA ring. :)

This is probably going to get lost in the comments, but sometimes when I'm home alone, I go out to the garden and bury myself neck deep and pretend I am a carrot.

I would submit Reggie Theus. He was a good facilitator and played hard. He didn’t have many All Star appearances but had the 4th most assists in the decade of the 80s.

Maybe expand the series by decade. I love that you're bringing up all the fringe 90s stars that I grew up with. Look forward to that Chris Jackson video

Muggsy Bogues was top seven in assists in six straight seasons and top ten in steals in three of those seasons. He also had 146 career double-doubles and boasted the best assist-to-turnover ratio in NBA history.
