The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age. My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me! I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

If you have 2 rings, 1 MVP, and 1 Finals MVP you are likely in a top 15 rank (There are exceptions). NBA players with these accolades include: Wilt Chamberlain, Willis Reed, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Bill Walton, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry. Add in players from before the Finals MVP existed and we get possibly George Mikan, Bob Cousy, and Bill Russell. Add in ABA accolades, and you get possibly Julius Erving. The only two players in the NBA currently able to join the list are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic.
Defense? Disrupting the other teams drives to the bucket, forcing them to shoot early or late, closing off the passing lanes, and getting them to travel might not be tallied up as stats but it messes with their heads. In the span of less than 5 seconds the Nuggets scored 5 points off two turnovers.
Jokic is a breath of fresh air. He's obviously an extremely talented AND skilled player contrary to some so-called experts in media. What I love about him is that he's extremely driven and hardworking and a master of his craft. This is opposite of the players today with all their bravado, chest-puffing, and over-inflated egos. He puts his dedication to his craft and work first and doesn't let the marketing crap get in the way.
Not a hakeem kinda case because hakeem hás the defensive SIDE... But with 3mvps and 2fmvps, going back to back, definitely top 15, you can argue him 12-10... Just needs longevity but Will definitely pass shaq.... In terms of offense... Jordan Wilt bird... Jokic is arguably a top 5 offensive player of All time, RN
Hey, Jonny! Unfortunately, I missed yesterday's game to busyness. I read about it though and wish I saw it. Nonetheless, Jokic amazes me. I like how he is able to use both his size and finesse (and great shooting skills, including from long range) to dominate. He is incredible and I like your comparison to Hakeem (and the Rudy Tomjanovich quote you shared). I also think it's cool how you spoke without a script for this video. Your scripted videos are great, but this one is awesome too. Hope you're doing well. Take care.
More like the BALL & RIM is a cheat code 🧲 🏀 🎪 . Can’t believe people still taking the NBA serious 🤯. This man is nowhere near Hakeem or Shaq. Stop it please
Great video. Ant, never got the double team like he has been getting. Kobe and Michael never got that double all the time and as early as Ant is getting it. The internet and the narrative of Ant being the next Mike is making the nuggets double him lol
watched the game yesterday and wow, i have never seen anything like it. Jokic was dominating Rudy like he wasnt even there and getting his team involved. It was a masterpiece
There's 60+ players who averaged 10+ rebounds & Bird has more assists than every single one of them & Bird is 2nd in steals to Olajuwon for players who averaged 10+ rebounds.

Hello Jonny, as a french and a long time fan of Rudy, what Jokic did in that game, and especially in the third quarter, was a masterpiece. Because Rudy did an awesome job in defense, but Jokic seemed to be able to make every shot.
I mean, i think this guy is not only challenging those on the top 10. Let's talk about shaq's undisputed first spot as the most dominant player ever; is he also coming for that one? He's cooking the hell outta every elite defensive player of his era.
I don't like ranking players when theyre only halfway through their career... but if he wins the title and has 3 MVPs and 2 titles in 4 years, how many other players can say that? How many centers have his range and passing? He's going to retire top 5-10
