Yes it's refreshing having two intelligent boxers chat as opposed to two babbling low IQ types slagging each other off. That was one of the factors that made the build up and face off so great

Let’s just state the facts: 1) We went to the moon. Humans have landed on the moon 6 times. The last time was in 1972. 2) The Earth is not flat. 3) There are no ghosts. I love these two and it’s no skin off my nose what they say, they are just having a chat so fair enough. But let’s have it right.

The Gloves are Off was probably the finest bit of boxing theatre I've ever seen. There was so much tension in that shoot I swear you could cut the air with a knife. Gotta be honest, I still watch it once or twice are year and It still hits. George was really dialled in on that one, he gave a top performance! You may have been mortal enemies at the time, but looking back you both gotta be proud of that surely?

Thinking back 10 years or so, of all the fighters I'd have thought would be friends I'd have NEVER picked Froch and Groves. Now though it totally makes sense when you listen to them talk. 2 of the most honest and intelligent guys in boxing.
